    Surprisingly awesome!

We were looking for something a little different that would also be friendly for mobility-challenged seniors. We wanted an evening activity when the weather was cooler, and we came across this sidecar tour. At first, my parents were a little hesitant, but they quickly warmed up to the idea—and by the end, they absolutely loved it. Our guides, Matthias and Joppe, were fantastic. The sidecars were surprisingly comfortable for both my mother and my mother-in-law, and they felt safe and well taken care of throughout the ride. The tour started with a brief history of Barcelona and a map showing the areas we would be exploring. As we rode through the city, Matthias and Joppe shared stories about the neighborhoods, landmarks, and architecture, making the experience much more than just a sightseeing tour. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer our questions, which made for great conversation throughout the evening. One of my favorite parts was seeing Barcelona after sunset. The city really comes alive at night. The landmarks look completely different when they’re illuminated, and the nightlife gives the city a whole new energy and atmosphere. It felt like we were experiencing a different side of Barcelona than we had during the day. If you’re looking for a unique way to see Barcelona—especially if you’re traveling with seniors or anyone who prefers to avoid long walks—I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and a wonderful way to experience the city once the daytime crowds and heat had settled down.

Response from the operator: Dear Lisa, We are touched by your speech! Thank you for taking the time, thank you for the amazing words, and the energy. We are a small hard working local company and this totally makes our day! We truly hope to be able to be your guides again in the future. Warm regards from all the team, specially from Matt and Joppe!

Great way to see the city

The perfect way to see the city. Our guide Stephen was knowledgeable and funny. This was my first time in a motorcycle and I road in the sidecar and felt perfectly safe. The best part of a tour like this is the one on one time with a local person. Gives such an intimate view of the city. I would suggest taking this tour at the start of your visit to set up your plans.

Response from the operator: Dear Mary, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with our Barcelona Sidecar Night Tour. We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed discovering the city from the sidecar and that Stephan helped make the evening both interesting and enjoyable with his knowledge of Barcelona. It’s great to know that, even on your first motorcycle ride, you felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour. That’s something we always aim for so that our guests can simply relax and enjoy the ride. We completely share your view with your suggestion about doing the tour early in a visit — it’s a great way to get a first overview of the city. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Stephan. Warm regards from him and from all of us at BrightSide Tours, and we hope to see you again in Barcelona someday!

    Book this ASAP!

You have found the best tour - book it now! Had one night in Barcelona before a cruise and could not see it all - but we did! Surprised my mother with this experience. As we were waiting in the lobby of our hotel I told other guests what we were going to do and they waited to see my mom’s reaction to what was in store. Our driver Stephen drove up and people outside circled around and lobby guests went outside as they were excited (and a little jealous) that they did not book this. Cruising all around Barcelona at night was so beautiful and the information that Stephen gave us was wonderful. We could have never seen all the sites with all the lights on our own. People smiled as they saw us cruising comfortably. When we returned to the hotel my mom said this was the “favorite thing of our trip” and we had not even boarded our cruise! On our cruise we showed other guests and they couldn’t believe our smiles and wish they had found this amazing experience. To this day my mom still says it was the highlight of our two week vacation. So stop looking at other tours - this is what you need to book.

Response from the operator: Dear traveller, Wow… thank you so much for this incredible review. We truly can’t thank you enough for taking the time to share your experience — it means more to us than you can imagine. You moved us! Knowing that this surprise became your mom’s “favorite thing of the trip” — even before boarding the cruise — is exactly why we love what we do. Creating special moments like that is what motivates our whole team ! We’re also so happy to hear how much you enjoyed cruising around Barcelona at night. The city really does have a magical glow, and we’re thrilled that Stephen could make it even more memorable with his stories and insights. He will be absolutely delighted to read your kind words! Thank you again for your trust, your enthusiasm, and for sharing your joy with others — even back on your cruise! We truly hope to welcome you and your mom back to Barcelona very soon. Warmest wishes from all the BrightSide Tours Team and a special hello from Stephen ✨

Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle

Marvellous experience for celebrating our 41st anniversary. Our guide Johannes is humorous and knowledgeable. He is also very considerate. He first understood from us which places that we have already visited and what particular places that we would wish to go. He then gave us some additional advice and designed the 2 and a half hour night trip for us. He provided detailed background of our visited places which gave us better understanding. Highly recommended especially Johannes to you all.

Response from the operator: Dear traveller, We are touched by your careful and warm review, and also for the fact you chose us to be your private guides in such an anniversary! We hope to be your guides again in Barcelona for future trips, it is always our aim to make the most of your time and to provide as much relevant information as possible without leaving the catalan "joie de vivre" aside. Best regards from Johannes, and all of us at BrightSide Tours!

Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle cost?

    +

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 61 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sunset & Night Tour of Barcelona by Sidecar Motorcycle start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

    +

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

    +

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
