highly recommend a private Felucca tour
Eyes of Egypt organized a Felucca ride for us. We got picked up at our hotel, which was far away from where the Feluccas are situated (we didn't know this when we booked). The taxi ride and driver were terrible, but once we arrived at the Felucca we started to relax. It was a very nice to have a private ride, compared to a packed tour group boat. Our felucca driver was lovely and provided water and fresh fruit. I recommend to check how far your hotel is from the Felucca port.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Felucca tour in Aswan. We truly appreciate your honest and detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the private Felucca experience and found it to be a relaxing alternative to the more crowded group boats. It’s wonderful to know that our Felucca captain took good care of you with water and fresh fruit, creating a pleasant atmosphere during your sail on the Nile. However, we sincerely apologize for your disappointing experience with the taxi transfer. The quality of transportation to and from our activities should match the quality of the experiences themselves, and we clearly fell short in this aspect of your journey. This is valuable feedback that helps us improve. Thank you for the practical advice you’ve shared with future travelers about checking the distance between their hotel and the Felucca port. You’re absolutely right - this is important information that should be clearly communicated during the booking process. We’re now implementing additional pre-booking information to ensure all guests are aware of locations and distances. Based on your feedback, we’re also reviewing our transportation partnerships in Aswan to ensure consistent quality across all aspects of our services. Despite the transportation challenges, we’re glad that the Felucca experience itself was enjoyable enough for you to recommend it. Thank you again for choosing Eyes of Egypt, and for helping us improve our services for future guests. Warm regards, The Eyes of Egypt Team 🇪🇬
