This was our first time...
This was our first time doing anything like this. Jordan and Bailey were awesome. They made the trip fun and enjoyable. We will definitely do this one again.

Just ok, crew was great though
Overall the experience was ok. I was not happy with the instructions strictly telling us to get there at least 30 mins early only to have us sit outside for 45 mins in the miserably hot and humid sun waiting to board. We also boarded 10-15 mins after the scheduled start time (6pm). That was pretty annoying as we were dressed nicely to go to dinner after. However, the captain and the other staff member on board (I think Jordan and Jay were their names) were awesome. They were funny and kept us informed of changing weather conditions and got us back safely when rain quickly approached and started pouring on us! I was able to stay pretty dry, but everyone else got soaked. The boat is covered but if it’s moving, it’s very hard to stay dry. We only saw 2 dolphins maybe. And they were pretty far away. There were about 5 boats circling the bay trying to see the dolphins. Wasn’t really a fan of that. Felt like we were chasing them. Would I do this again? Probably not.
Response from the operator: Hi Sadie we are sorry you didn’t enjoy your dolphin tour with us. It has been awful hot the last few weeks and this has been causing afternoon late showers. We will talk to our captains to make sure the trips are loaded at the specific time of the trip. We do however ask guests to arrive early due to the fact that there are a lot of guests that don’t follow directions and show up right at the last minute then have to sign waivers causing the boat to leave later then we would like.

Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Panama City Beach.
How much does Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $37 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Panama City Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Panama City Beach is not rushed.
Is Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 81 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Panama City Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Panama City Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Panama City Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Dolphin Cruise in Panama City Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Panama City Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Panama City Beach?
+
Panama City Beach sells dolphin encounters, Shell Island snorkel trips, jet ski and pontoon rentals, parasailing and sunset cruises along a long stretch of white Gulf sand. On Outty we rank every Panama City Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dolphin Sunset Cruise in Panama City Beach on the "Island Time", Shell Island Snorkel and Dolphin Catamaran Cruise with Island Time, Cypress Springs Eco Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Panama City Beach?
+
April to May and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Panama City Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
