A beautiful evening cruise on the Zambezi with dinner and drinks.

A really beautiful way to spend an evening on the Zambezi. We booked with Owen at the last minute and he was so helpful fitting us in and picking us up. The cruise was perfect, fantastic service, great food and drink, informative driver. I would highly recommend booking this cruise through Owen. Transfers to and from our hotel were perfect, on time and helpful.

Response from the operator: Dear Dirobbo, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that you had amazing experience, We truly appreciate your kind review about our service and your time it’s always our goal to make every tour booked with us amazing! Too long and overpriced

This event for me was actually lost of time. Cruise lasted 2 1/2 hours which could be much better spent. We have mostly floated on the river with a few minor sites of animals at the end. We saw the sunset a nice one on Zambezi river but we could do it in much shorter time. $110 for this cruise is overpriced.

Response from the operator: Dear our client, We have taken note of your concern, will put it into consideration though the challenge it's a standard of all cruise company to spend two hours on the river, Warm Regards, Owen.

Not what it said on the packet….

The sunset cruise was ok, but the problem was that it was not what had been sold to us. The description was that we would be in a small safari boat & do some game viewing and the stop at a island for drinks and snacks. Instead we went straight onto a massive boat with loads of other people- we specifically don’t like big groups, and not great for seeing animals…..

Response from the operator: Hello Tamsin, Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that you were not impressed to mingle with other travellers in a big boat, unfotunately the information was spread online everyone to read and chose either to pick or not, otherwise we are sad for your disapointed, we will work to see that we have make some amendments, Warm Regards, Owen.

Sunset cruise with Safpar a must in Victoria Falls

Beautiful night - sunset cruise is a must. It says “light dinner” but they serve snacks at the start so we were full! We were also incredibly lucky to see elephants at this time of year (normally in Botswana). Hippos you will definitely see. Crocodile if you’re lucky like us. Our crew had amazing eyesight and spot the elephants 2 kilometres away and directed the captain. 2 hours of unlimited drinks and food with a sunset - just don’t forget to bring your binoculars.

Response from the operator: Hello our dear traveller, We would love to thank you for your review, trust me you will always endevor to provide the best of our highest level to everyone booked with us.

    Sunset Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Livingstone.

How much does Sunset Cruise cost?

    +

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Livingstone usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sunset Cruise take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Livingstone is not rushed.

    Is Sunset Cruise worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Livingstone, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Cruise?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sunset Cruise suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sunset Cruise?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Livingstone can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Livingstone and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sunset Cruise start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Livingstone within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Livingstone?

    +

On Outty we rank every Livingstone experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Game Drive & Rhino Safari Exp - up to 3 hrs long - MIN 2 PEOPLE, Raft the Zambezi, Zambezi Whitewater Rafting — Full Day All 25 Rapids : Livingstone. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Livingstone?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Livingstone?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Sunset Cruise?

    +

Included: Light refreshments; Unlimited drinks (open bar); Bottled water; Wine tasting; and Snacks. Not included: Excess luggage charges (where applicable). Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Sunset Cruise include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 10 listed pickup locations in and around Livingstone. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Sunset Cruise offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Sunset Cruise?

    +
