You can save yourself the trouble.
Not justified for the money in the VIP area. Food was okay, but didn't appeal to us at all, nor did it appeal to other guests. Without prior information, a wedding party was held in the lower part (not VIP), which also came into this area. It was less relaxing - more stressful. Staff is nevertheless very friendly and the boat is very nice. You can still save yourself the VIP tickets.

Ineffective customer service
While the VIP experience is very pleasant, the same cannot be said for the Sa Calma Boat customer service. In May, we booked a VIP day on a catamaran for August 6. On July 3, we received a cancellation notice due to a regatta organized on the chosen day in Palma. Very motivated by the experience, we therefore rescheduled the same outing for the day before. To confirm it, we had to pay much more. We did so and contacted customer service by phone and email to request a refund of the difference, but we NEVER heard back. Since the ticket office on site was closed, it was impossible to make a claim. Quite a scam. It is a real shame.

An unforgettable experience in Mallorca! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We took the catamaran excursion with Sa Calma Boats and it was the best day of our vacation. The boat is impeccable, very comfortable and spacious. The crew was incredibly attentive and professional, always making sure that everyone was comfortable. The cove where we stopped was spectacular, with crystal-clear water perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and fun, the music and drinks provided the perfect touch. Unbeatable value for money. Without a doubt we will repeat and we recommend it 100% to anyone visiting Mallorca. Thanks for a perfect day!

AMAZING
The Sunset Catamaran Tour with Sa Calma Boats was the highlight of our holiday in Mallorca! From the moment we stepped on board, the crew made everyone feel welcome with their friendly and professional service. The catamaran is spacious, comfortable, and never felt overcrowded. We sailed along the beautiful southwest coast, stopped in crystal-clear waters for a swim, and enjoyed a delicious dinner while watching the sun slowly disappear behind the horizon. The atmosphere was simply magical, with relaxing music, stunning views, and the most incredible sunset we’ve ever seen. Everything was perfectly organized, from boarding to the return trip, and the attention to detail really made the experience feel special. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with friends, or as a family, this is an unforgettable experience that is worth every euro. If you’re looking for the best sunset cruise in Mallorca, don’t hesitate to book with Sa Calma Boats. We would do it again without thinking twice. Highly recommended!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option cost?
+
Prices start at $101 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Catamaran Tour in Mallorca with VIP option start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
