I’d do it again…
It is always great to see a new city from the water! This relatively small and open boat was appropriate to the waterways around Montreal, and not conducive to any kind of guiding or information sharing. And at this time of year it was more dark than sunset. The guide tried to add to the experience, but again, the weather (it was cold and dark) and the demands of bilingualism made it hard for him to deliver on the full experience I’d say.

The boat is very small and all outdoor. Very cold. For the price there should be a better boat then a weekend lake

Terrible experience
This is NOT a sunset cruise! It’s a speed boat ride in St Lawrence Seaway. In October it was very cold and wet. It’s a very small boat, holding about 12 people, totally open. Seats are very uncomfortable. Don’t do it unless you have nothing to do and want to fill the 6-7 PM hour. I can’t not imagine being more miserable!

Not worth it.
The location was challenging to find as the map on viator was different than when you enter location into goggle maps. While walking there stressed we were going to be late the guide called stating we needed a taxi to get there because we were that far away. It was very difficult to understand him though so someone else had to talk to us. We finally found the dock and arrived before the departure time but you could tell the guide was frustrated. He basically drove the boat around the St Lawrence river for 50 minutes and did not explain much about the city or sights. The only positive from the cruise was the lovely people we met. We thoroughly enjoyed the conversation while on the St Lawrence river.
