Unforgettable Kintamani experience ⭐
It was an unforgettable experience in Kintamani. Our guide, Yus, was very helpful and kind. He made sure we got the best spots everywhere without any crowds and took some really great photos of us. Hotel transfer and breakfast were also included in the price, which made the whole experience even more convenient.

Ended my first trip to Bali on massive high!
As an avid hiker, I decided to book the sunrise guided sunrise tour of Mt Batur. I have friends that have done it in the past through a different company, so I thought that I had an idea what to expect, but how I was wrong! I was expecting a slow line of tourists on the ascent and descent, but as we left slightly earlier, the ascent was relatively traffic free! My guide, Kuas, was absolutely fantastic!!! I started at the very bottom, making our way through fields of vegetables and when reached the summit, Kuas, allowed me to cook my eggs myself and demonstrated smoke/ steam blowing trick, which I did not notice many doing! Kuas, had a fantastic energy, shared alot of knowledge about the volcano and surrounding sights and on the descent he took me down alternate tracks to over take the congestion and 90% of the descent was traffic free! I felt my experience was a very personalised, experienced it all and was not just another tourist! If the Mt Batur is on your list when travelling Bali, Kuas is your man!!

Amazing
I had an amazing time hiking Mount Batur! It was definitely a challenge, but so rewarding. The experience started perfectly with the driver Niko, who arrived right on time and was very pleasant to talk to during the ride. Our trekking guide was also fantastic. I forgot his name but he was very professional, helpful, and funny, which made the climb even better.

Be prepared!!!!
So, you really need to be in good physical condition. It's doable, but not without difficulty. We went too fast from the start, and it was hard. I almost fainted in the middle... but once you're up there and the sun comes out, you forget a bit. But it's not an easy trek. The view up there is really, really beautiful.

Five star
It was an amazing experience — I would highly recommend it to everyone. Our driver, Pande, picked us up right on time in front of our hotel, and we comfortably slept in the car on the way to the meeting point. The journey was very comfortable and smooth. Special thanks to Nyoman and Pande for making this a truly five-star experience.

Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast cost?
+
Prices start at $375000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 328 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast?
+
Around 115 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunrise Mount Batur Guided Hike with Breakfast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
