What you get

    About this experience

If Europe has The Alps, Vietnam has Mt. Fansipan. This “Tonkinese Alps” serves as the highlight of all in Sapa, the premier trekking base of Vietnam. Gaining its reputation as the Roof of Indochina, Mt. Fansipan is king of all hiking trails in Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia, intimidating all other peaks with its 3,143m-tall stature. You will be traversing up and down the ridges, sometimes covered with vegetation, sometimes exposed to the sun. This trail is an everyday norm for locals as young as 15 years old to hunt for food, and gather woods and herbs for a living. Do you think you are fit enough to take on the challenge? Disconnect to connect. Taking a 2-day journey into Mt. Fansipan disconnects you from the hustles & bustles of the city while immersing you with the peace and serenity of nature. You’ll see different kinds of plants along the way, spot a variety of bird species and smell the crisp mountain scent. Are you a nature-lover willing to leave the comforts of the city?

    Beyond the roof of Indochina

Amazing trip all around, the guide was incredibly well prepared and cooked a ridiculous amount of incredible food. It’s a pretty surreal experience to have hot pot in the middle of a hike the night before your summit push. To those intending to attempt this without training and while relatively out of shape (like me), your ambition is admired. It’s doable, but certain parts may not be enjoyable then. Also did a second hike after the fansipan trek, which was perfect as a recovery hike. That guide was super knowledgeable about the different minorities that call the villages home.

    Priceless experience

We were a group of 7 couples and most of us were first timers on an overnight mountain hike. The experience was priceless and TTTG has been a great help by being very responsive to our questions and request.

An amazing 3D2N adventure to Fansipan Summit

Ok actually I did the 3D2N Trekking trip from Cat Cat Trail to Fansipan Summit. This is my 2nd experience with this company and all thanks to Mr Phạm Minh Duc (Director) and Joey (Ops Manager) who handles all logistic, communications and execution flawlessly, every adventure I had was terribly good. What's more than to have some team who manages your schedule/train/van transfer ahead of your arrival? This trail m that I had just done can be attempted by regular hikers who yearns for a deeper adventure or a challenge to yourself. But best to start of understanding the Tram Ton Trail first. You will also love how you can learn and mix with the locals from the black Hmong community. I'll be back in Sapa for sure. Love from Singapore, Glenn Sim

    Excellent.

Hello Mr. JOEY. Thank you so much for organizing my climb. Catcat trail is very difficult but the guide and the porter made it easier for me. They provided me good food and always checking on me. I did not anticipate the difficulty of catcat trail but I enjoyed so much.. Everything is well organize. Thank you so much again Mr. JOEY, MY PORTER, AND MY GUIDE.

Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sapa.

How much does Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N cost?

    +

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sapa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sapa is not rushed.

Is Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sapa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sapa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sapa and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sunrise Fansipan Mountain Hiking Tram Ton Trail 2D1N start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sapa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sapa?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sapa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sapa 2 Days 1 Night From Hanoi - Overnight in Ta Van Village, Glass Bridge, Cat Cat Village, Moana, Alpine Coaster Sapa Tour, Sapa 1 day trek with local guide to the village by Comlam. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sapa?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sapa?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
