    Fascinating Visit and Pleasant Walk.

Sardor was a great driver and guide. He speaks good English, was very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him. At the Solar complex he handed over to a private guide who took us round the complex. It is a fascinating place! We then had a walk in a national park for about 1.5 hours followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant. Overall it was a great day out. Throughly recommended.

One of Kind and a Fun Trip

Quality and unique way to spend the day. Would definitely recommend. Something that is almost impossible to see anywhere else. Definitely get a guide to explain the history and take the elevator to the top as well.

Great to see the sun complex

The sun complex is great. Proper old Soviet place, the guide at the Helix complex was very good, we melted coins and had a tour around the whole place. We had to pay a guy to go up the lift but I was 100,000 som for 4 so £6.50. The only disappointment is as always the tourist lunch option. At a tourist only place on a touristy only road with people waving cars in.. I just don’t get why as 2 people they don’t just take us to a normal local resturant. Probably due to a kick back..if they added the kick back to the tour it would be so much better. We stopped at the new Tashkent park by the phoenix statue. Completely empty, no one around, like a deserted Chinese city..which is exactly what it is…Chinese money and tentacles spreading across Uzbekistan..

Response from the operator: Thank you for the review. For the safety of visitors. We only offer better and more hygine restaurants.

    Unique opportunity

A very unique experience! Only 2 of these in the world. Bonus that there are no crowds. I'm not quite sure why it's not publicized more. After visiting here we stopped by a forest in the mountains for a short on-your-own hike.

Response from the operator: Thank you for a great review

Excellent tour with a lovely tour guide

We started our tour by getting picked up by our lovely tour Guide John. We drove us to the helio complex and shared many interesting information about Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the history of helio complex and its current usage and many more with us along the way. Additionally, he stopped at interesting sight seeing spots and showed us his favorite Samsa spot where he bought us Samsa ❤️! After our visit at the helio complex we stopped by a lovely wine yard where we tried excellent uzbekian wine and had a tasty lunch before heading back to the hotel. John made our trip interesting, unique and fun! He speaks excellent English and is very nice and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend booking a tour with him!

Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tashkent.

How much does Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tashkent usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tashkent is not rushed.

Is Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tashkent, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tashkent can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tashkent and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tashkent within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tashkent?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tashkent experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Explore Amirsoy, Chimgan & Charvak – A Full-Day Mountain Tour, Best Of Tashkent: Amirsoy Skiing Resort, Chimgan and Charvak Lake, Tashkent: Guided Walking & Food Tour with Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tashkent?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tashkent?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip?

    +

Included: tour guide as a driver. Not included: Lunch; Entrance fees; and Wine tasting. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

    +

What languages is Sun Heliocomplex Tashkent day trip offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
