The perfect Day!
Our family of five had pretty much the perfect day. The oyster and muscles lunch, with Dennis as our host, was absolutely delicious. And Dennis and his nephew were so warm and welcoming that they made us feel like family. And our wine visit with Tony as our host was just perfect. We all thought the wine was some of the best we had ever had. We so appreciated our conversation with Tony, and knowledge he conveyed to us all. Mihail was our guide and he made the entire trip special. His knowledge and personality was a perfect fit for the day. The country of Croatia should be very proud to have Mihail, as he is just wonderful ambassador for all. It was our last day in Croatia and it could not have been more perfect.

Best mussels of my life!
If I could only recommend one tour during your stay in Dubrovnik it would be this one! On the first stop of the day, we had the most fantastic oysters and mussels of our lives, fresh from the farmers along with delicious homemade wine and grappa (a local liqueur). Then we stopped in beautiful Ston which was such a quaint old Mediterranean city, rich with history. We also bought some salt from the salt flats right outside the city walls. Next, we went a local winery where the owner served us 4 of his best wines along with some homemade olive oil, all of which was absolutely delicious. Lastly, we headed back to Dubrovnik where we got an amazing Birds Eye view of old town. I can’t speak highly enough of Mihail who was our guide for the day. He was extremely friendly, positive, and prepared with lots of interesting information. Don’t let the lack of reviews make you hesitant! I actually tried to book another, more popular tour but it was all booked up. I’m so happy it was because this was perfect. If I could give 10 stars I would!

The perfect day beyond Dubrovnik with Mihail and more.
This was an absolutely amazing experience if you’re visiting the area I highly recommend this tour. From the MOST fresh oysters and mussels you’ll ever taste, to the gracious oyster farm hosts Dennis and his nephew, to Tony the knowledgeable wine maker and of course to our professional and most accommodating diver, Mihail!! Thank you for a perfect day beyond Dubrovnik!!

Trip with friends
A wonderful trip to the oyster and mussel farm with delicious tasting. Followed by a walk through the town of Ston with a short guided tour. Afterwards there was a wine tasting. I can fully recommend it

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik cost?
+
Prices start at $218 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ston Oysters & Wine Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
