Not as romantic as it looks
It isn’t as romantic as it appears. Tractor fumes and being bounced about isn’t great. Unfortunately the wines were lacking for us.
Response from the operator: Sorry to read that you didn't enjoy the Wine Tractor Tour. We can suggest our 3 Regions Wine Tour or full-day Franschhoek Wine Tour as an alternative. We appreciate your feedback.

Staying in Stellenbosch,...
Staying in Stellenbosch, I would have been better to book at the Tractor experience directly. I did not use the bus to the venue as they would not collect me from Stellenbosch. I also did not go with the group from the bus. I paid an extra R300 for no benefit.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify that this tractor wine tour operates with a pick-up and drop-off point from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, and unfortunately, we don't currently offer direct collection services from Stellenbosch for this specific tour. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly value your business and are disappointed that we couldn't provide a more seamless and beneficial experience for you.

Authentic and unique
The best ever authentic out in the vineyards experience available. Easy transfer from Cape Town CBD and fantastic host. Choose your estates according to your own preference and simply hop off the tractor and when you're ready to go to the next estate you just hop back on. Great value for money. See you again soon.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your enthusiastic review! We're delighted you enjoyed an authentic vineyards adventure. Freedom of choosing your own estates, hopping on and off at your own pace, and traveling comfortably from Cape Town CBD is a bonus!

How far in advance should I book Stellenbosch Hop-On Hop-Off Wine Tractor Tour from Cape Town?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Hike Table Mountain or Lions Head in Cape Town Like a Local, Cape Point and Boulder's Penguins Full Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What happens to Stellenbosch Hop-On Hop-Off Wine Tractor Tour from Cape Town if the weather is bad?
+
