About this experience
This isn’t your average stargazing tour — it’s a personal, down-to-earth experience designed to make you feel connected to the universe. What sets us apart is the blend of heart and science. You’ll not only see Saturn’s rings and the Moon’s craters through different kinds of telescopes — you’ll also learn the stories behind the stars, ask anything you’ve ever wondered about space, and even learn how to use the equipment yourself. We keep the experience private, cozy, and beginner-friendly — with a peaceful beach setting, warm coffee brewing under the stars, and special take-home goodies. Plus, part of your booking supports the local village of Seseh.

Brilliant experience with wonderful people, don't miss it when you visit Bali!
Highly recommend doing this when you are in Bali, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences that we had here. Gabs was super helpful and gave us the option of multiple locations as well as advising us of the best one. She monitored the weather forecasts and gave us the opportunity to reschedule for an evening with better visibility. And she even arranged transportation from our hotel to the site to save us booking taxis. The team for the night: Donny, Raihan and Mars were awesome, the nicest and funniest people you could wish to meet. They set the site up including blankets, pillows, drinks and snacks, and showed us planets, constellations, and the Milky Way - something we really wanted to see from the Southern Hemisphere. They were really knowledgeable and we learned a huge amount, and had great fun doing it - we laughed all night. Thanks to you all for a brilliant evening. And to anything thinking of booking this, make sure that you do - you will have a great time.

Had the best time sky-gazing & hearing so many deep sky trivia from Astronomy Bali. Everyone on their team is really passionate in sharing what they know about the galaxy & answering all of our questions XD.

Unforgettable Stargazing with AstroBali
We live in a place where the night sky is always washed out by city lights, so seeing a sky full of stars has been a longtime dream of my wife's. When I stumbled across AstroBali at the very last minute, I booked it on a whim and I’m so glad I did! It ended up being one of the most magical and memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the start, communication with Gaby was quick, consistent, and super clear. The entire AstroBali team was honestly one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and professional groups we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They closely monitored weather and cloud conditions to ensure optimal visibility. Sometimes, if weather conditions were not ideal that day, tour companies might have a "too bad, so sad" attitude, but not with AstroBali! In the end, we had to reschedule twice, I was genuinely impressed by how dedicated they were to making sure we had the best possible stargazing experience. They arranged round-trip transportation to the viewing site, and when we arrived, we were blown away. I expected a simple telescope setup, but instead, we were greeted by the most charming, romantic “picnic”-style layout under the stars. Donny even brewed us fresh coffee on the spot using beans he had sourced from a specialty roaster just for the occasion. It was such a thoughtful and cozy touch. The stargazing itself was just incredible. They had three telescopes set up (ranging from high-tech to manual) and they took the time to explain how each one worked. We were given sky maps personalized for that night's sky and Gaby and Donny used laser pointers to trace constellations across the sky. The photoshoot at the end was also so magical. The photographer was so patient in guiding us through poses, and the resulting photos are something we’ll treasure forever. This wasn’t just a tour. It was truly a night full of wonder, care, and connection. Huge thanks to Gaby, Donny, and the photographer for creating a moment that my wife and I will never forget. I cannot recommend AstroBali enough. If you’re even thinking about it, just book it. You won’t regret it!

Def the most underrated experience in bali
didn’t expect much, thought it’d just be stars and a telescope… but it hit different. we actually learned stuff without it feeling like a lesson. gab and donny were super friendly and made the whole sesh fun. And the photos were amazing! 10/10 would recommend if you’re in bali and want something different from the usual beach or adventure tour.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Stargazing Under the Bali Skies: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.
How much does Stargazing Under the Bali Skies cost?
+
Prices start at $3150000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Stargazing Under the Bali Skies take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.
Is Stargazing Under the Bali Skies worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Stargazing Under the Bali Skies?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Stargazing Under the Bali Skies suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Stargazing Under the Bali Skies?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Stargazing Under the Bali Skies start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuta?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Ubud Private Tour - All Inclusive Premium Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
