⭐☆☆☆☆ One Star (only because zero isn't an option)
I booked a 2-hour paddleboard lesson with Katie’s Paddleboard via Tripadvisor (Viator) two months in advance.I arrived 15 minutes early, but no one was there.I called five minutes after the scheduled start time and left a voicemail. I called again 45 minutes later, Katie finally answered and said she couldn’t do the lesson due to an injury. When I asked about my earlier message, she said she hadn’t checked her phone yet (by this time it was late morning). She claimed Viator didn’t notify her of my booking—however I received payment confirmation two days before the lesson. I understand injuries happen, but there was no communication whatsoever. I drove 45 minutes each way for nothing. What made it worse was seeing on Tripadvisor that she was still accepting bookings just three days after my reservation—so clearly she was still accepting bookings. I waited to post my review because I was expecting a refund from Viator. I was told on two occasions that the refund had been issued, but it never was. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to receive the refund.
Response from the operator: Very disappointed of your experience have shared here. I do not conduct my business this way. There were not supposed to be any available bookings, I have had an injury that needed extended time to heal so I blocked all my booking slots for the season. Somehow some were not and some bookings happened. I did not realize this. So sorry you made the drive and didn't get the communication you deserved. You should have received a FULL REFUND for this booking as I did put the request for it. Also I had trouble figuring out how to clear my calendars so no more bookings would be able to take place. I do very much appreciate your interest in this stand up paddleboarding lesson and wish you could have had the experience.

No Call, No Show
I reached out via messaging two days before to see if I could add another participant, no response. We arrived a half hour early at the meeting point. They never showed, didn’t respond to my next message and didn’t respond to Viator’s phone call. DO NOT BOOK. I probably won’t get my money back since they won’t respond to messaging.

Operator was a NO SHOW
Tour operator didn’t bother to show up, cancel, respond to messages or calls. I had to call Viator and supposedly there will be an investigation. I had to request for my money back after wasting my time and money on this and I had to ask… that is outrageous.

Tour Operator Didn't Show
My tour operator "Katie's Paddleboard" through Viator.com did not even bother to show up or cancel or answer the phone or respond to messages. Complete negligence on the tour operators part. Viator.com customer support indicating there would be an "investigation" which means nothing to someone who wasted an hour driving, gas for travel, and missed opportunities to find another tour or attraction... They didn't even mention I would get a refund.. me, the customer had to bring that part up.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Panama City Beach.
How much does Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Panama City Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Panama City Beach is not rushed.
Is Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Panama City Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Panama City Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Panama City Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Stand Up Paddle Board Lesson in Panama City Florida start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Panama City Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Panama City Beach?
+
Panama City Beach sells dolphin encounters, Shell Island snorkel trips, jet ski and pontoon rentals, parasailing and sunset cruises along a long stretch of white Gulf sand. On Outty we rank every Panama City Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dolphin Sunset Cruise in Panama City Beach on the "Island Time", Shell Island Snorkel and Dolphin Catamaran Cruise with Island Time, Cypress Springs Eco Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Panama City Beach?
+
April to May and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Panama City Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
