Memorable Moment
First and foremost, Richard was an absolutely FANTASTIC guide! He was incredibly engaging and very well informed. He easily matched the pace of the group and did a wonderful job sharing interesting facts while also sharing his personal experiences. I would highly recommend this tour and, if possible, Richard to anyone!!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much! Richard does the majority of our daytime and 9:30 Spooky Savannah Ghost Walks, and sometimes also leads our pub crawls on the weekends!

Really, really nice experience
Rick was an excellent guide. He was quite knowledgeable on our tour. If there is something he did not know the answer to he told us that he was not sure instead of just telling us something. He was funny. He was entertaining and he was the nicest person I met in Savannah.
Response from the operator: So glad you enjoyed your time with Hot Rod Rick, one of Savannah's best!
via Tripadvisor
Boniventure cemetery and Wormsloes plantation.
Albert was out guide and he was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. If you’re doing this tour you should request Albert.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much but I think you had another company's tour, as we don't have an Albert and don't do Bonaventure. It may have been one of ghosts who led you around...they do that sometimes!

We had a wonderful tour and a great time with Hot Rod Rick. So knowledgeable, while also entertaining.
A great tour with Hot Rod Rick!
Response from the operator: We're so glad you enjoyed the tour and will be sure to let Rick know!

Unprofessional and poorly informed tour guide
This is named the spooky Savannah haunted history tour but our tour guide, Hot Rod Rick, provided subpar stories that typically were cut short to discuss what he THOUGHT happened, or to tell things he had heard. He told us that it was more of a history tour than a spooky one, which is not the description that is presented when booked. We did a spooky bar crawl and they ended up telling us about the same place that we visited last on this tour and the stories were very different. The length and detail in the stories were also varied incredibly. I asked our guide for the bar crawl about the records said that theirs are backed by actual reports and are considered completely factual. He ended our tour by telling us a vulgar person story that had no relevance to what we were talking about and left us all uncomfortable. At some point someone in our group told us that they looked at his id badge and it said his license was expired. I’m not one to ever leave a negative review but this experience was incredibly disappointing.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We'll investigate the reason your experience was so different from others on Rick's tour. Savannah is again extremely late in updating badges and has advised us to continue using our 2025 badges until we receive the updated ones, but thank you very much for your concern.

Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.
How much does Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.
Is Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 56 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Savannah?
+
Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Savannah?
+
March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Savannah?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals?
+
Included: None. Not included: None. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Spooky Savannah Ghost Walk: Stories, Spirits, and Signals?
+

+
