a lovely afternoon out in kampong glam :)
Thank you for the lovely day out to see vintage, thrift and trinkets! A good variety of sights and vibes, and most importantly there'll be something for both guys and gals ;) Ronald really took the effort in planning and pacing the tour, with comfort in mind. Enjoyed the turkish dessert at the end :)

Thoughtful and enjoyable Kampong Glam experience!
I joined Ronald’s Splurge and Save Tour at Kampong Glam with my mom, and it is honestly one of the best tours! We started at Parkview Square and Ronald shared so many interesting stories about the building, its history, the feng shui details and the artworks inside. After that, he brought us to this tiny perfume studio, but it turned out to be the highlight of the day! The owner is like an artist and he really took the time to help us create a scent we genuinely liked. It felt very welcoming and there was no pressure to buy anything. Ronald planned everything so thoughtfully. The snack stop for putu piring and coconut juice was perfect and the putu piring he chose was a Michelin guide one too. Then we visited a few thrift shops that he personally curated. All of them had great selections and friendly shop owners, and again, no pressure to buy. We ended with the best kunafe I have ever had. It was remarkable! Even as a local, I really enjoyed the whole experience. Ronald curates his places with a lot of heart and intention, and you can feel it. If you are looking for a meaningful and very enjoyable way to explore Kampong Glam, I strongly recommend this tour with Ronald!
