Excellent professional premium quality
I believe the driver was called Kruno and I wanted to share that he was excellent. His Knowledge and intelligence beyond the history of the cities/ towns I visited were impressive and also informative. I felt safe, comfortable and educated throughout the trip and I had a very memorable experience in Croatia and Bosnia. I will also like to leave a review for the tour guide who joined and gave me a tour around also, he was honestly very sincere and his care and knowledge was also refreshing and warming. He took the time to explain his town to me and I felt very welcomed. I very much enjoyed this trip and will be passing this on to family and friends if they wish to travel to Croatia.

Wonderful private tour!
We booked a private tour and our guide, Mario, was very communicative ahead of our tour and for a nominal fee was able to meet us right at our house instead of finding a central meeting location. His car was immaculate and he opened and closed our doors for us each time we got in/out of the car. He was quiet and respectful of our conversation, but happily engaged when we asked him questions. He pointed out landmarks along the way and his English was great. We had hired him to take us to Mostar because we were unsure about the border crossing and he handled everything on our behalf so there was no stress for us. They had arranged a local tour guide to meet us when we got to Mostar and she was great as well. He was flexible with timing and plans and made everything super easy for us. We went to Kravice waterfalls next which was totally overrun with tourists, but Mario got us in and out quickly. It was a wonderful day overall and we would definitely recommend Mario for anyone looking to hire a driver in Croatia!

A day to remember
Excellent customer service, from the first email with Hrvoje, contact the day before to confirm pickup, to the day itself with our driver Goran, collected from our boat at the port and returned to our hotel in the evening. Comfortable car with knowledgeable driver covering the history of the area. Mostar was the highlight, we were met by Ali, a local guide, who was just great, showing us all the sights as well as a good coffee shop. The falls were a good way to finish the trip especially after the heat of Mostar. Thank you

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $121 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Split to Mostar & Blagaj Private Tour with Local Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
