    Rude, unprofessional tour guide

I had a very disappointing experience with Flarent's rafting tour. The biggest issue was the transportation and lack of communication. We spent around 40 minutes being driven up and down mountain roads in an airconditionless van without any explanation from either the driver or the guide about where we were going or what was happening. The whole journey felt uncertain and disorganized. When we finally arrived, there was no proper safety briefing. We were simply told to put on helmets and life jackets and carry the raft ourselves. We were never informed beforehand about what to bring for the trip. The rafting lasted around three hours in very hot weather, and we had not brought any water because nobody told us we would need it. Later, the guide asked why we hadn't brought water, which was frustrating given the lack of information provided before the tour. The guide’s (Mihael) behavior was also disappointing. At one point, I realized my feet were not in the raft straps and corrected it myself. Mihael then said, "This is what happens if you don't have your feet in the straps," grabbed my feet, removed them from the straps, and pushed me off the raft. I found this completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Throughout the tour, he was often rude in the way he spoke to me, which made the experience uncomfortable. Rafting was fun, but I wish we had been assigned a different guide.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry to hear that your rafting tour did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and lack of communication during transportation. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we understand how this could have made the start of your experience feel disorganized and uncomfortable. We also regret that you did not receive clear instructions in advance regarding what to bring, especially water, as well as a proper safety briefing upon arrival. Your feedback highlights areas where we clearly need to improve, and we take this seriously. Regarding your interaction with our guide, Mihael, we are very sorry to hear about your experience. Safety is always our top priority, but it should never come at the expense of professionalism and respectful communication. What you described does not reflect the level of service we expect from our team, and we will address this internally. We are glad to hear that you still found rafting enjoyable, but we truly regret that the overall experience was diminished. Your feedback is very valuable and will help us improve our organization, communication, and service quality. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Kind regards, Flarent team

    It's not rafting it's rowing

The place is beautiful Trouble is, you spend most of your time paddling, the rapids are few. They charge you an additional 15 euros per literal 4 photos. Skips just once They give you 10 min to bathe in a place without depth I don't recommend it.

Response from the operator: We are sorry if you didn't enjoy in rafting. This is an easy one, more for fun and relaxation and enjoying in beautifull nature and river. Best regards, Flarent team

    Rafting fun Centina River Croatia

Great 3 hours experience! Excellent weather which helped a lot. 3 hours gave a fuller experience. 12 people on board was bit too much.

    Great Staff

Unfortunately we were unable to go on the trip due to a time crunch, but the staff working at Flarent, especially Tattiana, was very kind and worked with us and helped us process a refund. They even gave us free water. Great staff

    Thrilling

Had a blast, thank you everyone for being so accommodating, we could store all our items in a van and everyone was very helpful. Nevertheless, the tour was so much funnn, as I never did something similar it was true adrenaline rush. Definitely recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear June, It is always nice to read great review just like yours! Can’t thank you enough for nice words about our service and country as well. We’ll be happy to host you again sometimes soon. All the best, Flarent team

Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Split's Ultimate Rush: Rafting the Cetina Rapids & Cliff Jumping start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
