Absolutely fantastic tour by our guide Judita in Split

Absolutely fantastic tour by our guide Judita in Split. Judita went out of her way to customize our visit and passionately ensured that we saw the very best of Split. Judita is the best local guide that we have encountered over our 3 decades of travels.

Excellent day tour of a beautiful place.

Our trip was very interesting. Marko, our guide was fun and super informative. Everyone had a great day. The old town is well worth seeing none of the best examples of ancient buildings still in great shape. And if you’re a game of thrones fan this is a must see as you’ll get to go to where it was filmed and Marko even had scenes on his tablet that we could watch and see the room we were in as it was used in filming.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your fantastic review! We’re so happy to hear that you had such an interesting and enjoyable day with Marko. He truly loves what he does, and it’s wonderful to know his fun and informative approach made the experience special for everyone. The Old Town really is a treasure, and we’re glad you appreciated its incredible ancient architecture. And for Game of Thrones fans — it’s always exciting to stand in the exact filming locations! We love that Marko could bring those scenes to life for you with the clips on his tablet. Thank you again for choosing Time Travel Split Tours. We hope to see you back in Split for another adventure soon!

    The Best Tour Ever

Michaela is fun, bubbly and a joy to tour with. Even better she is very knowledgeable and funny and loves telling stories about her town and her country . She lives in Trogir and knows everyone there. The scenery is beautiful. The town is interesting and a good mixture of history, shopping and restaurants. She picked us at the gate and after the tour she waited for us to shop and to took us back to the ship, even though it was a 10 minute walk. Go with this lady and her company.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing review! We’re thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed your time with Mihaela. Her energy, sense of humor, and love for storytelling truly make every tour special. As a local resident, she takes great pride in sharing the history, charm, and everyday life of Trogir — and yes, she really does seem to know everyone! We’re also glad you appreciated the personal service, from meeting you at the gate to making sure you returned comfortably to your ship. That extra care is very important to us at Time Travel Split Tours. Thank you for your strong recommendation — it truly means a lot. We hope to welcome you back to Croatia again soon!

Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $230 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Split and Trogir from Cruise Ship in Split Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
