In the Terrace Houses located within the ancient city of Ephesus, the rulers and the wealthy of the time used to live. The Terrace Houses, which consist of two sections, have survived to the present day with only one section preserved. There are a total of six houses. The mosaic structures are prominent. The Temple of Artemis
In ancient times, there were many temples dedicated to Artemis. Among them, the most famous one was the Temple in Ephesus. Its fame grew after it was declared one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World by the Byzantine philosopher Philon in the 3rd century BC. The Temple of Artemis is not located within the Ephesus Archaeological Park. There is a distance of approximately 2 kilometers between them. There is no entrance fee to visit the remains of the Temple of Artemis.
