About this experience

At Vamos Spanish Academy, our main goal is simple: to ensure that every student truly learns and progresses. Creating a meaningful and effective learning environment is always a priority, but to achieve that, we believe understanding each student is essential. That’s why we take the time to get to know every student, both academically and personally, even before they step into the classroom. This personalized approach allows us to tailor the learning experience from day one. All students, except complete beginners, complete a placement process before starting their first class. This assessment helps our Academic Director accurately evaluate each student’s level, goals, and specific needs. We also consider factors such as prior language-learning experience and any additional languages spoken. By combining these insights, we ensure that every student is placed in the most suitable group, setting them up for a productive, comfortable, and rewarding learning experience.

A great experience

Really enjoyed the 4 weeks I did there. Pushed me to learn which is what I needed. Good sized classes and good resources to assist. Very happy to recommend and I hope to get to do more study there

Excellent school

Vamos Academy have been fantastic. The location is very good, the teachers really are excellent and the front desk staff are great. I started as a complete Spanish beginner and really feel like I have come on a long way. Thank you to all the staff, especially my wonderful teacher Matilda and the lovely Lu on the front desk, who made everything so easy to organise! ¡Muchas gracias!

Great Spanish refresher

Such a great language learning experience. Vamos was exactly what I was looking for to help me refresh my Spanish skills. We had a small group of students so I never felt self-conscious about speaking, my teacher was sweet and passionate about teaching, and it was a good flexible option that didn’t cost a ton of money. A win all around! I stayed in an Airbnb nearby and it was a perfect way to spend a free week in Buenos Aires.

Excellent experience in Daira’s classes, would 100% recommend.

Extremely happy with the classes, Daira explains lessons very clearly and with lots of patience. Very pleasant learning environment and Daira also gave lots of helpful practical information and advice for my stay in Buenos Aires.

Daira is amazing

My teacher Daira was absolutely amazing. She helped me so much to improve my Spanish and was extremely patient and engaging. Daira also talked to us a lot about the history, culture and politics of Argentina which was a huge insight into the country. I cannot commend her enough and really appreciate all she did.

Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires cost?

+

Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 83 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires?

+

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Spanish Intensive Group Classes 20 Hours p/Week | Vamos Academy Buenos Aires start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

+

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
