    South side of Oahu

Had a wonderful experience visiting the south side of Oahu. Massimo took us to beautiful sites and was very knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend

Massimo Tours Hawaii Pearl Harbor and South Shore Scenic Tour

Massimo Tours Hawaii for South Shore Scenic Tour and Pearl Harbor. Wow! Don’t have words to describe our superb tour guide, Petra. The knowledge and history of the Hawaiian Islands that she knows is remarkable and unbelievable. She gave us such detailed information on the tours that we took with her, that she left us in awe! I highly recommend asking for her since she can answer any question you have regarding Hawaii and will go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met. She actually took us back after we left because I realized there was something I wanted to get at the souvenir shop. We were so impressed by her. Not only that, but she went above and beyond her job duties. We needed to pick something up at the store and she did this for us on her own time since she was taking us on another tour the following day and had it sent to our room. She went out of her way to give the items to the bell boy to deliver to our room and she paid out of her pocket. We did naturally reimburse her. The South Shore tour is along the coast line and I can’t say enough about it. It was stunning. The beauty of nature that we saw is something we will cherish for a lifetime. We stopped at different sites. First time I ever saw a volcano (it was not active, of course). Pearl Harbor is a must for everyone. The honor to have had the privilege to see where our armed forces defended our country and to feel the loss of the brave men and women who lost their lives was something that will stay with us forever. We did not have to worry about anything. She is the one who coordinated the movie, museums and ferry at Pearl Harbor. She walked with us to be exactly where we needed to be. In summary, I am so grateful that I took these tours and was fortunate enough to be assigned the best tour guide ever!

    South Shore tour highly recommended

Our guide Pietra with Massimo tours was very informative and accommodating. She took the time to show us the south rim of Oahu. We stopped to take in the beautiful scenery of the beaches and the ocean and to take pictures. Stopping at local establishments for lunch made it fun. Highly recommend this tour as you are able to make it your own.

    Wonderful Experience

The private tour is well worth the price. You see so much of the island you couldn't see otherwise in a short amount of time, without the stress of driving and directions. Daniela was amazing; so knowledgeable and personable. She even spent extra time with us taking us to the Punchbowl, which was an amazing lookout and beautiful view of the entire island. Highly recommend!

South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.

How much does South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $490 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.

Is South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does South Shore Aloha Friendly Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Oahu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Oahu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Oahu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
