    Mykonos, an expensive paradise.

Mykonos is a beautiful island, with a nice center and wonderful beaches. You feel like you are in a kind of paradise. In fact, 2 of the most popular beaches are called Paradise and Super Paradise. As not everything is rosy, the problem is the number of people in the summer, making traffic chaotic, both for vehicles on the streets and people in the center. Everything is also very expensive, both in the center and on the beaches. And there are jokes. Always check the prices on the beaches before sitting on a sun lounger or table. Choose tables, as they generally only charge for what you consume. Sun loungers cost around 50 euros to rent. On Pratis Beach there is a tent that only charges 1 drink per person to stay on a sun lounger. But the drink costs 50 Euros"

Tour cancelled at the last minute. No reason given. Been told I will get a refund. Asked if there were any other dates available - no response.

Response from the operator: Hello Del, the cancellation was last minute because the tour does not operate this year and is not in program. The tour was deactivated but somehow the reservation slipped through. Your refund has been already been made. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!

    A nightmare the Costa Cruise

We are in ship at this moment in trieste and we are activating the Service satisfied or refunded because truly an experience not to be repeated. The cabin is not as they sold us, the bed is hard and with dirty sheets full of hair. When we got to the ship, they wanted us to walk eight floors. Also 2 out of 3 damaged bags. There is no priority boarding in Venice or Trieste. Despite various requests to Costa staff. So now we have activated the Service to get off tomorrow in Bari and return to Rome. A disappointment!

    BEST.DAY.EVER.

I'm going to be honest when I say waking up on time to catch the boat before it left was a challenge - but once we made it to Ornos for the departure and got on the boat there were absolutely no regrets. Olivia is the chillest, coolest, realest tour guide out there. She was very informative and explained very clearly how the day was going to go. We saw some incredible beaches, and although it was my fourth time on the island, some of the places on this tour I had never seen before. The tour had the perfect balance of relaxing spots as well as lively spots. Our last stop at Super Paradise beach was obviously the most lively, and if you were having so much fun that you wanted to stay there and find your own way home you were free to do that. The food that we had at the restaurant for lunch was amazing. The entire day is an amazing value for the price that we paid. I loved that throughout the day none of the stops felt rushed - we had plenty of time to enjoy each location along the way. For convenience you can also arrange a pick up and drop off shuttle service to your hotel at a fair price. At the end of the day you get back just in time to nap and begin your night. HIGHLY recommended, don't miss out on a day of fun and adventure!

    Beautiful walk

We chose this mini cruise by chance on Tripadvisor to occupy a day of our vacation and even the southern beaches of Mykonos from another angle, nice surprise, except maybe a group of young Neapolitans who were a little noisy, little aperitif on the boat, then stop on Francis' wild beach, mask, snorkel, and hop little quiet time in crystal clear waters, then leave for Angia Anna, where we had lunch in a nice little restaurant, very good meal, then stop at Super Paradise Beach, beautiful place, shame that it became too "bling bling" and return to Ornos, superb day, supervised by very nice people and who love their piece of paradise.

South Coast Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mykonos.

How much does South Coast Cruise cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mykonos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does South Coast Cruise take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mykonos is not rushed.

Is South Coast Cruise worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mykonos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule South Coast Cruise?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is South Coast Cruise suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book South Coast Cruise?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mykonos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mykonos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does South Coast Cruise start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mykonos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mykonos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mykonos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour and Wine Tasting in Mykonian Land, Local Tour with Cruise/Hotel Pick-Up(Small Group or Private), Catamaran Day & Sunset Cruises with meals Drinks and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mykonos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mykonos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
