Highly recommended!
I booked the Kecak Uluwatu & Fire Dance Show on Tripadvisor, and it ended up being one of the top experiences of my time in Bali. Everything went seamlessly and was well arranged, and the setting at Uluwatu Temple added a special touch. The schedule couldn’t have been better—we arrived just before sunset, and the clifftop scenery was breathtaking. Simply watching the sky shift in color while waiting for the show already felt magical. The performance itself was just as impressive. The chanting, rhythm, and the dancers’ energy built a powerful and engaging atmosphere, and the fire segment at the end was incredible to witness in person. It felt genuine and distinctive, truly one of the highlights of my trip. Overall, I strongly recommend booking this through Tripadvisor. The process was easy, the sunset was stunning, and the show was absolutely unforgettable! 🌅🔥

We’re truly happy to hear that the Kecak Uluwatu & Fire Dance Show became one of the highlights of your time in Bali. The combination of the breathtaking clifftop setting, the beautiful sunset, and the powerful energy of the performance really does create something unforgettable. It’s wonderful to know that everything went smoothly from booking to arrival, and that you were able to enjoy the magical transition of the sky before the show began. The chanting, rhythm, and especially the fire dance are indeed very special elements of this performance, and we’re glad you felt how unique and authentic it is. Thank you as well for your recommendation—it really means a lot to us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again for more memorable experiences in Bali!

The Kecak Dance
The sunset backdrop made it even more magical, creating a picture-perfect setting. Booking through Tripadvisor was smooth and convenient. Everything was well-organized, from ticket confirmation to the entrance process. We got great seats and didn’t have to worry about long queues. The whole show gave such a deep insight into Balinese culture and storytelling it felt both entertaining and spiritual at the same time. Definitely a must-see when visiting Bali!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the magical sunset atmosphere and found the entire experience smooth and well-organized from booking to the show itself. It’s great to know you had comfortable seating and could fully enjoy the performance without the hassle of long queues. Your kind words about the cultural and spiritual depth of the show truly mean a lot to us. Bali’s storytelling traditions are very special, and we’re happy you could feel that connection during the performance. We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again for another memorable experience in Bali!

Very satisfying tour
this tour allowed me to see the Garuda statue, a symbol of Bali, up close. Unlike seeing it only in pictures, the actual scale and atmosphere were overwhelming. If you want to go up to the top of the statue by elevator, it's best to go and make a reservation as soon as you arrive, because reservations fill up quickly. For the Uluwatu Kecak Dance, I recommend the front row seats in the central area. Being closest to the stage and having a good view enhances your immersion in the performance. You usually have to wait about an hour, and the performance starts at 6 PM and ends around 7 PM. The performance set against the cliff at sunset was one of the most memorable moments of this trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re really happy to hear that you had such an unforgettable experience seeing the Garuda statue up close—the scale and atmosphere truly are something special in person. Your helpful tips about reserving the elevator early and choosing the best seats for the Uluwatu Kecak Dance will definitely be valuable for future travelers. We’re especially glad that the sunset Kecak performance became one of the most memorable moments of your trip. It’s truly a magical combination of culture, nature, and atmosphere. Thank you again for choosing our tour, and we hope to welcome you back to Bali for another amazing experience in the future!

Had a lot of fun! 🥳
A very unique dance, performed entirely with human voices, set against the backdrop of the sunset. It was beautiful to watch. The highlight was when the White Monkey King appeared and interacted with the audience. Definitely worth seeing.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the unique experience of the Kecak dance, especially with the magical sunset as the backdrop. The moment when the White Monkey King interacts with the audience is always a favorite, and we’re glad it stood out to you too. Your recommendation truly means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you again for another memorable experience in Bali.

A must do amazing experience
We had a wonderful time on the afternoon/evening trip with our driver putu adi . We travelled to a unique beach which entered through a cave we didn’t swim but suitable for those who like too, we just relaxed under provided beach umbrellas and ordered Bintangs. We were then driven to the temple which was so amazing built right on the edge of a cliff with breathtaking views. Our driver lined up to buy tickets for the cultural show, while we got to explore the temple for an hour or so…We watch the fire dancing show on sunset which was such a pinch yourself moment. We then travelled a short trip to Jimbaren for BBQ dinner on the beach. Our driver went over and beyond to look after us, going different ways to try to over come the Traffic, we were very grateful. Highly recommend this cultural experience.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.
How much does South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset cost?
+
Prices start at $300000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.
Is South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does South Bali Iconic GWK, Melasti Beach and Uluwatu Kecak Sunset start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuta?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Ubud Private Tour - All Inclusive Premium Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
