Great way to taste Sorrento!!
We had a really enjoyable time on this walking food tour. It was a great way to explore the Sorrento area while trying a variety of local foods and learning a little more about the culture and history along the way. The tour was well paced, relaxed and easy to follow, with a nice mix of stops. Tamara was friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience fun for everyone including our children. A lovely way to spend a few hours and definitely something we’d recommend to anyone wanting to experience more of the local food and atmosphere. We revisited a few of the stops throughout our stay. Thanks!! -Nick & Family

Brilliant tour - 5 stars!
The tour exceeded all of our expectations! Tamara was a fantastic guide. She is friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She not only introduced us to an incredible variety of Sorrento’s delicious local food, but also shared fascinating insights into the town’s history and recommended some excellent places to eat during our stay. There was so much food that we certainly didn’t leave hungry! Every stop offered something different, giving us a wonderful taste of the local cuisine. Visiting the lemon grove and limoncello factory was a real highlight and made the experience even more memorable. One of the highlights was meeting the passionate local business owners along the way. Hearing their stories and learning about their traditions gave us a genuine appreciation for Sorrento’s culture and hospitality. The tour was excellent value for money, well organised, and thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento. Its a fantastic way to experience the local food, history, and the warm hospitality of the people who make this beautiful town so special.
Response from the operator: Ciao Dom! Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful review! It was such a pleasure spending the day with your wonderful family. Your kindness, curiosity, and enthusiasm made the tour so much fun for me as well! I'm so happy you enjoyed not only the food, but also meeting the local families and artisans who make Sorrento so special. Sharing their stories, traditions, and passion is one of my favorite parts of every tour, and I'm thrilled those moments resonated with you. I'm also delighted the lemon grove and limoncello experience became such a memorable highlight! Thank you again for choosing Sorrento Food Tours and for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your family made many wonderful memories during your stay in Italy, and I'd love to welcome you back to Sorrento one day for another adventure. Safe travels back to Australia! Tour guide drama
There were 5 of us on the tour. My group of 3 and a married couple. Our “Tour Guide” Tamara was seemingly under the influence of something. That or she was tired beyond normal standards. She became the focus of the tour. She was not incredibly informative. Her words trailed off. She was snarky at times. I was greatly disappointed in this tour and the money we spent. She, at one point, got a text from a person she knew with an injury and proceeded to show everyone the bloody picture of the injury. The whole thing was just odd. The 5 of us spent the whole time commenting on her behavior. We all commented that we really just wanted to leave the tour halfway thru. The whole lemon grove and limoncello part of the tour was a joke. Then we walked around the shopping areas and she told us to stop in to shops and tell them to give us the “Tamara Discount”. Her words were slurred half the time and she was barely audible. Her sentences trailed off mid stream. It was unreal. I should have demanded my money back.
Response from the operator: Shaana, I completely reject the false allegations in this review. I was not under the influence of anything, and the claims about slurred speech or impairment are simply untrue. Your negative attitude throughout the tour - yes it was exhausting. The only accurate part is that I excused myself from the table as I received a message that my boyfriend had been in an accident and at the hospital. Like anyone receiving such upsetting news, I was shaken. I find it disappointing that a moment of genuine human concern was portrayed so negatively. It’s also worth noting that your fellow guests later apologized for your behavior, thanked me for the tour, and expressed that they had enjoyed the experience. Your refund request was reviewed by Viator and declined. After more than 15 years of providing highly rated food tours in Sorrento, I remain proud of the authentic experiences and hospitality we provide our guests. Tamara

Is Sorrento Food Tours Limoncello Factory & Lemon Grove 12+Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 847 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Sorrento Food Tours Limoncello Factory & Lemon Grove 12+Tastings?
+
Around 296 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sorrento Food Tours Limoncello Factory & Lemon Grove 12+Tastings start and how do I get there?
+

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
