What you get

    About this experience

Immersed in the green hills of the Sorrento Peninsula, the experience begins with a warm welcome in Schiazzano, followed by a fun ride in an Ape Calessino—a “little Ferrari”—up to the farmhouse. The visit starts with tastings of organic jams and a selection of the farm’s extra virgin olive oils in various flavors, including classic, lemon, orange, basil, rosemary, chili pepper, and truffle. The journey continues with the farmhouse guided tour, owned by a third-generation cheesemaker! The visit begins in the cowshed, to learn about the cows’ GMO-free diet, certified by the Provolone del Monaco PDO, of which the farm has been a founding member since 2005. Next, step into the farm’s dairy, where traditional methods are used to produce fior di latte mozzarella. The highlight is the Mozzarella Making Show, followed by a tasting of freshly made cheeses—ricotta, caciottina, and mozzarella—for an authentic taste of local dairy tradition.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
