Well worth it!
It was well with it. Chiro was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Very entertaining!

Great experience!
Great experience! We were met at the cruise port exit by Mariano and he was the BEST driver! The way he was able to maneuver the van for the emergency vehicles to get through was amazing. There is absolutely no space on the road between Almafi and Salerno, and even with a accident and emergency vehicles squeezing through, he did great! We got to see the road through the mountains to Almalfi, which had a lot less traffic and a nice view and on the way back we went through the ocean scenic view, which had a little hold up but it was very beautiful. It was was nice to see both routes. We really enjoyed our driver and our tour guide Lucca in Pompeii. I would recommend this tour for everyone.

Highly Recommended
Mary's tour was very informative. Enjoyed learning the histories of the area and locations. From her descriptions, Pompeii was easily seen as a city rather than just an archeological site. She pointed out details that would have gone unnoticed or, even if you had noticed them, their significance would not have been understood. Mary clearly enjoys sharing her knowledge, making the experience that much more enjoyable. Our driver (Pietro?) was an expert; he could have threaded that bus through the eye of a needle. Thanks to both for a great tour.

Wow! Super tour - Beautiful locations!
Hands down a great tour. Andrea (Domenico/SM) were super helpful. Great historical, social and geographical commentary. Even though the ruins at Pompeii were very interesting, I would like to revisit Sorrento and spend more time there. The Amalfi Coast was sensational and the weather was perfect!

Tour guide was...
Tour guide was phenomenal! However, they changed our reservation to include a stop we didn’t want because we had just spent 3 days there. We got about 10 mins in sorrento and originally were supposed to get 4 hours. That was our only disappointment. Good experience for those who want to see positano, sorrento and Pompeii

Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.
How much does Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno cost?
+
Prices start at $154 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.
Is Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sorrento and Pompeii Full Day Small Group from Salerno start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Salerno?
+
On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Salerno?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Salerno?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
