Great hike with Jimmy!

Our guide Jimmy was very accommodating and helpful throughout the trip to Songnisan National Park, which is beautiful in the fall. Munjangdae rock had an amazing view at the top! Jimmy shared about the park, the Buddhist temples in the mountains, his hiking experiences, and life in Korea. He's the type of guide who would get you to the park and back no matter the conditions.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment review for our best all around guide Jimmy. We provide best hiking experience for every tourist.

An unusual and memorable experience.

A magical place, far from the frenzy of Seoul. Spend at least one night to appreciate this temple, in a harmonious setting and a pleasant surrounding nature with birdsong. It is interesting to keep pace with the monks with morning rise (4h).I enjoyed the comfort of the rooms with mattresses on the floor and heated parquet floor. Coffee and tea available;Meticulous cleanliness. Discreet and efficient welcome.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review that descrive about the Temple.

Great Guide!!!

This private tour was well worth the money. Mr. Kim was so knowledgeable and taught us so many new things. He is so kind and friendly. He let us determine how much time we spent in each location which is not like the group tours. He allowed us to do extra things in the area that we wanted to do. He told us "This is your time. We will do what you want to do". It was just great. We will use him again whenever we have need for a tour. This was so much better than the group tours. I highly recommend this private tour, but make sure you get Kim Cheonsoo (Chance - American name) for your guide. You won't regret it!!!

Response from the operator: We really appreciate to hear the best compliment review for our guide Kim. Our guide Kim also said that he had a happy tour with your members. You know that to get a good guide, the customer need also be a good touist, Right?

Go see Beopjusa Temple

Perfect excursion. A little far from Seoul but less crowded than those closer. The time in the car allowed us to chat with our guide which gave us lots of information. The temple is magnificent. The trails too. A breath of fresh air.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review. Korea has so many wonderful historical places and great scenic locations.

Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Songnisan National Park & Beopjusa Temple UNESCO site Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
