About this experience
Different with other monkey tours, you do not need to wake up early in the morning because as a forest ranger, we know where is our Queen Primates eating and playing. We drive you to the Son Tra peak, then trek to the deep forest called special zone to spot Red-Shanked Douc resting, feeding, climbing, and interacting with their family groups in the forest canopy by using our binoculars to zoom far to close to see its beauty. Along the way, you will also learn about the peninsula's unique ecosystem, local wildlife, and conservation efforts to protect this endangered species. After spending much time with these rare primates. Next we visit American Landing Zone by incredible view to the city. We drive you to explore Ban Co peak with panaromic landscapes around from sunrise to the sunset. Last stop is visit Vong Canh Hill with American radars by 180 panaromic view around. Let explore great wildlife and landscapes with us in this unique tour in Da Nang.

We drive you to the preservation zone to see Red Shanked Douc at the hidden forest where there is no any vehicles just silent walking to see primates with its habitants daily. We can see them eating, feeding, milking....with its amazing beauty. We also hike for 1-2 kms in the silence to see other birds and flowers as well. Next we visit all Ban Co peak, Vong Canh Hill...with lovely sunset or sunrise from the ocean to the mountain and the city.

Great to try
Booked this tour on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions in Da Nang. Great local food, interesting stories, and a super friendly guide. We ate way more than expected and visited places we'd never have found on our own. Highly recommend if you want an authentic local experience instead of tourist restaurants.

Rice Wine, Buddhism and Beautiful Views of Da Nang
We recently spent a wonderful morning with Hung Le Travel exploring parts of Da Nang that we never would have seen otherwise. We began the morning with a visit to a rice wine distillery that has been owned by the same family for generations. The owner was so warm and welcoming; we were able to go into the distillery area and see how the rice was processed and how fermentation occurs, and we tasted rice wine at various points in the distillation process – which was fascinating. We tasted six different flavors of rice wine, all while we talked with our guide, Home, about the history and origins of rice wine production in Da Nang. It was absolutely fascinating, and was a reflection not just of rice wine, but of the history and culture of Vietnam. Then we moved on to Ban Co Peak, where we drove through the beautiful mountains and were able to see the American radar installation on top overlooking the South China Sea. We talked about the Vietnam War, and learned things about the War that we’d never known. The views of Da Nang and the South China Sea were absolutely gorgeous, as were the paragliders we watched take off from the mountain and soar over the sea. All was quiet and serene, with almost no other tourists, which made it really special. From there, we moved on to the Lady Buddha, where we had a detailed tour, not just of the Lady Buddha statue itself, but also of the entire temple grounds, with beautiful gardens and statuary collections. While the area in front of the Lady Buddha statue itself was very crowded, we walked into other areas where we were the only visitors. Throughout our tour, Home talked about the practice of Buddhism in Vietnam and explained what each statue represented – details we never would have been able to learn on our own. This was our second tour with Home and Hung Le Travel this week – I would highly recommend this awesome group to anyone who wants to do something really special in Da Nang!
