An unusual experience that is worth the detour!

A great morning of discovery. If you want a Solex ride through the vineyards and small villages of the Vaucluse, embellished with little cultural breaks, this activity is made for you. We went there one morning with a group of 8 people. Clément, our guide, welcomed us very well and was always available throughout the ride to answer our questions. We were then able to enjoy a wine tasting at the Domaine des Aphillanthes with an equally warm welcome. Very beautiful encounters, beautiful landscapes, beautiful products, and above all, very good memories.

Solex ride

A very pleasant Solex ride right in the middle of the vineyards with a super friendly guide, followed by an excellent tasting at the Domaine les Aphillantes. Thanks to Clément for this discovery.

Extraordinary.

A wonderful experience for a bachelorette party. We loved the setting in the middle of the vineyards. The walk was appreciated by everyone. A big plus, there was something to satisfy everyone between classic Solex, electric, or electric bikes: truly top-notch. Clément was perfect, with very pleasant little breaks and some comments on the landscape. For the wine tasting, we were able to learn a bit more about the winemaker's profession with some very beautiful wine discoveries. Thank you all for the warm welcome and for making this moment a wonderful memory. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

A very nice experience

Great experience between friends. Clement was very available before the session to organize everything. Passionate about Solex but also the vineyards and the region you have a great time. And what about the tasting, a perfect moment! Anyway, hurry!

Response from the operator: Un grand merci Jérémy pour ce gentil message, heureux que vous ayez apprécié la dégustation également ;)

A great family ride!

A very fun activity! We had a great time discovering God's plan from another angle with the explanations of our guide A beautiful walk freely on the solex of our adolescence! We highly recommend this activity! Especially with wine tasting at the end of the ride, delicious and local!

Response from the operator: Un très grand merci Christine, heureux que ça vous ait plu. Je vous souhaite une bonne continuation :)

Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Avignon.

How much does Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes cost?

+

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Avignon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes take?

+

Plan for about 2.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Avignon is not rushed.

Is Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Avignon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Avignon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Avignon and add a light layer if any part of the 2.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Solex tour and tasting at Domaine les Aphillanthes start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Avignon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Avignon?

+

On Outty we rank every Avignon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Highlights of Provence in One Day, Chateauneuf du Pape wine tour, Luberon Hill-top Villages Small-Group Day Trip from Avignon. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Avignon?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Avignon?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
