A great snorkeling adventure

Mohamed was our driver. He showed up early and had great communication. He explained lots of sites along the way. He is extremely knowledgeable and answers any questions you may have. He is very honest and trustworthy. Our personal items were always safe and he made sure that we knew that. The snorkeling was an awesome experience. We snorkeled for an hour, then had lunch on the boat. The lunch was fantastic and very very good. After lunch, we got back in the water for about another hour. Then Mohamed transported us back to the hotel. He stopped along the way so we could get some drinks and snacks. He is extremely accommodating. The day trip was a very worth while experience. We felt very safe and the crew on the boat was very helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this day trip to people. The only thing we didn’t know about, was to bring our own towels to the boat to dry off with. We had to just dry in the sun. There is places to change clothes on the boat. Overall, a great experience.

Great experience, nice to see the coral and dive. Mohamad was on time to pick us up, he has a nice car, drives well, and speaks English well. Lunch was provided and good as well. Perfect getaway out of Cairo!

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
