    A Fun + Steady Decline

How did I not know such a great trail existed near Seattle? I had a great time with SMB Tours riding on the Snoqualmie Tunnel Tour. They outfitted us with mountain bikes, lights, and helmets and then we were off. Spending a few hours amongst the forests, wild flowers, and mountains on a nice steady decline made for a pleasant ride! No hills, just fun! DJ was great at checking in with the group and making sure we had what we needed.

Response from the operator: Isn't the Palouse to Cascades Trail so awesome?! Glad you enjoyed your Snoqualmie Tunnel tour with us! It's such a great ride. Cheers, DJ Bergquist General Manager | Seattle Mountain Bike Tours

The Snoqualmie Tunnel Tour is AMAZING!

The Snoqualmie Tunnel Tour with Seattle Mountain Bike Tours is AMAZING! It starts with a very tunnel cool ride through the middle of a mountain - WOW! The mountain views are beautiful from the elevated rail trail as you (mostly) coast downhill from Snoqualmie Pass. DJ is an excellent guide, providing just the right amount of historical information and humor! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique, active tour while visiting Seattle.

Response from the operator: Thanks for the kind words and thoughtful review, Tad! Happy you had such a good time on our Snoqualmie Tunnel tour - and hope we get to ride with you again soon! Cheers, DJ Bergquist General Manager | Seattle Mountain Bike Tours

    Amazing Tunnel Bike Ride!

Had an amazing experience on this bike trail that we have wanted to ride for many years. Seattle Mountain Bikes Tours ran a great tour. Our bikes were in excellent condition with great shocks and chosen to fit our height. A bike light for the tunnel, water bottle and snacks were provided. We had so much fun and it was a beautiful ride. Thank you SMBT!

Response from the operator: Hi Jennie, We had such a great time riding with you as well! Your group was so much fun, and we couldn't have had a better day to get out on two wheels. Hope to ride with you again soon! DJ Bergquist General Manager | Seattle Mountain Bike Tours

Best Day Trip On A Bicycle ANYWHERE

My wife and I had a fantastic time riding the trail from Hyak down to Cedar Falls. I've made that trip many times, including 4 times on a train a long, long time ago and many more times on a bike. Seattle Mountain Bike Tours knows how to make it a great event with fun and well-informed guides. Remember to wear layers of clothing; my wife said the tunnel is like riding a bike through a refrigerator!

Response from the operator: Hi Bill, Thanks for the review! I'm happy to hear we were able to get you back out onto memory lane with our Snoqualmie Tunnel Tour. Hope to see you again soon! Kind regards, DJ Bergquist General Manager | Seattle Mountain Bike Tours

Great Ride! 100 percent worth it!

Had a blast! Spen a half day exploring great, flowy trails. I'd never ridden trails like these, and really enjoyed the time out on the bike. Trails offered a good variety of features. It was rainy the day I rode (of course!) but the trails were well-drained and very ridable. We got muddy, yep, but not enough to keep us from having an absolute blast! Our tour guide was great. Me being a beginner rider unfamiliar with the area and the features, I felt totally confident that DJ understood where riders were at in terms of ability.. He lead us on beautiful, flowy trails that introduced us to features that were both challenging and super fun to ride! Highly recommend this tour! Well worth the time & the ticket! I would definitely do it again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind words and the thoughtful review! So glad you had such a good time exploring the trails here (even if there was a little rain!). Hope we get the chance to ride with you again! Cheers, DJ Bergquist General Manager | Seattle Mountain Bike Tours

Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seattle.

How much does Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle cost?

    +

Prices start at $269 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seattle usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seattle is not rushed.

Is Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seattle, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seattle can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seattle and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Snoqualmie Tunnel MTN Bike Tour from Seattle start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seattle within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seattle?

    +

Seattle's best days leave the city: Mount Rainier, the San Juans, Olympic National Park and Snoqualmie Falls are all day-trip range, and each one lives or dies on the driver-guide. In town, Pike Place food tours, underground history walks and harbour cruises dominate. Our ranking favours operators with small vans over full coaches on the mountain runs. On Outty we rank every Seattle experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mt. Rainier Day Tour from Seattle, Seattle City and Snoqualmie Falls Half-Day Guided Tour, Mt. Rainier National Park Highlights Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seattle?

    +

June to September for clear Rainier views and reliable ferry weather. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seattle?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
