It was a very good tour.

I really wanted to go to Rotorua, so I signed up for this tour. The clay fireflies at Waitomo Cave were very beautiful. I'd seen earth fireflies in Australia before, I was wondering if it felt the same. The clay fireflies in New Zealand were much more beautiful. This cave must be a Japanese guide, I probably didn't understand anything. The guide also explained in great detail. Even in March it is an early morning tour, so it is as cold as a winter morning in Japan. If you're on the tour, you might want to be careful what you wear in the morning. Rotorua was also pleased to see so many geysers. I dare say it takes three hours each way. I thought Rotorua would be better off staying if I had time and could. It's such a waste to go on a day trip. There's so much more to see. I think I did, so the next time I go, I want to stay a few nights. I enjoyed talking with the guide along the way, and asked him to join me on this tour I think it was really good. The person in charge who dealt with it before booking He was very kind. If I ever get another chance to go to New Zealand, I'd love to ask.

    Response from the operator:

It’s been an amazing 12 hour tour that we’ll always remember!

It was a solo trip without transportation. Other tour companies offer a guaranteed tour if you pay for two people (if there are other participants, one person will be refunded at a later date). However, Navitours said, "We have other applicants, so we decided to carry out the tour. I'm glad that it's helpful to be able to search for "tours that you can join at a single price." It was also reassuring to be a Japanese guide. The actual tour took almost 12 hours from morning to evening, which was more than a round trip to Nagoya. It was a small tour, so it felt very at home, and I was able to move around comfortably. Of course, we were able to enjoy the sightseeing tour smoothly with the guide explaining the tour well at each tourist destination, and it was a very satisfying day. In fact, there was nothing there, but it was a relief to know that even if you wanted to take a bathroom break along the way, they would be very attentive. I think it was a very good tour because I was able to enjoy the charm of the North Island of New Zealand which I didn't know only by staying in Auckland. This distance and time constraints, smooth guidance, advance booking of each facility, scheduling, and other things that I could not do on my own, were all done for me by the experienced Navitours, who made it safe, secure, and comfortable. ”I had a lot of fun and thought it was the right thing to do. Besides the tour fee, the only cost is lunch at the cafe, so I think it is a very reasonable tour. Finally, there are several facilities where photography is not allowed, and I was relieved that Navitours' office gave me an immediate answer to my question beforehand. The next time I revisit New Zealand, I would like to take part in the “Mystery of Kauri Forest Park” tour recommended by my guide. Thank you very much.

    Response from the operator: 910 manamia様 この度は弊社のツアーにご参加いただき、さらに温かいレビューをお寄せいただき誠にありがとうございます。

If you're in doubt, I'd encourage you to join

The clay fireflies in Waitomo were more beautiful than I had expected and I was able to get up close and personal again. It was a much more satisfying tour than I had imagined, with the caves also offering a chance to learn about the making and the back story. Tepuia gives you access to Maui culture, but without a guide you would have no idea what you were talking about. You could see the kiwis and they were so cute running around. I felt that predictions based on your experience were very valuable because you never know when you will spit it out in a geyser. Thank you for sticking with me until I burst out. It was also very helpful for us to hear about New Zealand from our guides on the road. I had signed up for a guided tour here at the beginning of this trip, so I was talking to my partner about the story I had learned many times in the South Island, where I moved after that. I was able to enjoy the journey afterwards, remembering things like "That's what I said" and "That's what I heard". From the time we applied to Navitours, the staff members responded to our request by email and made adjustments. I am very grateful to Take-san, who was in charge of the guide, and Hosoda-san, who was so flexible and thoughtful in organizing this tour. I couldn't book only Hobbit Village, which I wanted to go around on the Japanese tour, so I'd love to come back here with Navitours when I have the next opportunity. Thank you very much.

Response from the operator:

How many days do you need in Auckland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
