Fantastic Tour of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Valley!

We had an unforgettable experience on this tour! Everything was well-organized, and our guide, Juan, was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history and culture of the region. Our driver, José, made the journey smooth and comfortable from start to finish. Valparaíso was a highlight, with its stunning street art and colorful murals bringing the city to life. In Viña del Mar, we enjoyed breathtaking ocean views and a delicious seafood lunch right by the water. Along the way, we also got to feed llamas, taste Pisco and local wines, and shop for unique handmade crafts. The itinerary was well-paced, with plenty of time to explore, take photos, and enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. The only minor downside was that the wine tasting was at a roadside shop rather than a vineyard, but it was still a great experience. Overall, this was a fantastic tour, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chile! Huge thanks to Juan and José for making our day so special.

Great Way to See The Coast

If you have an extra day in Santiago, it’s a nice tour to see the coast of Chile. We spent most of the time in enjoying the kaleidoscope of Valparaiso’s streets, hills and its many visitors. As a native of the city, our tour guide Juan, was esp knowledgeable and shared stories and history of the city, as well as managing the steep, narrow roads like a pro! The drive around beautiful Viña Del Mar’s green spaces and beaches was a nice finish to the day.

Response from the operator: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for choosing Signature Tours to organize your travel experiences. Your trust means the world to us! We are also grateful for your thoughtful review, as it inspires us to keep pushing our boundaries and delivering exceptional service.

Vina de Mar was very...

Vina de Mar was very nice!! The guide was tired and spoke as little as possible. He was looking at his phone too much.

Response from the operator: Your feedback regarding this excursion is very much appreciated! Please accept our apologies and I will check immediately what happened with the local guide (nowadays it is difficult not to be contacted at any time by WhatsApp). Thank you very much.

Enjoyed our tour with Juan C. with Toursbylocals from Santiago to Vina del Mar and Valparaiso

Nice tour to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. Juan speaks excellent english. He never seemed to mind answering the many questions we asked about Chile's history, changes from 60 years ago to present, and things we spotted outside our windows. He is quite knowledgeable about many topics and gave us informations about the plants, trees, wineries, etc. during our drive to/from the two cities. His van was very clean and comfortable and we really appreciated his picking us up and dropping us off.

Great day!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! It started with our guide, Juan. He was very personable, very knowledgeable about Chile, answered all our questions in English, which was nice so my daughter didn't have to translate all day! Valpo was beautiful. The winery was amazing! Staff was very attentive. We were offered more tastings than were included in tour. Lunch was on our own at the winery and it was one of the best meals we had in Chile! Muy delicioso!! Would highly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Navigator, Thank you for the review and recommendation! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your Viña del Mar and Valparaiso Tour with our guide Juan and were delighted by the winery. Hope to see you again, thank you again for your feedback! Axel

Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.

How much does Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago cost?

+

Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.

Is Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small-Group Tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso from Santiago start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santiago?

+

On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santiago?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santiago?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
