Beautiful Fuji Countryside!
We had a great time on this tour and despite a substantial amount of traffic we still managed to see a lot of great views of Fuji. Our guide could have communicated better about the itinerary and also give some additional information about the area. I still enjoyed the trip!

Mt. Fuji day trip
The tour was well planned and executed. Pickup through Tourist Japan required some clarification to the exact spot, but was easy once I arrived, with the transport van arriving on time and all persons in the group present. Time to Mt. Fuji was about 90 minutes, stopping at a local spot at Lake Kawaguchi, with an ice cream shop with local flavors, a souvenir shop, and a wonderful, walkable garden to the lake's edge. Cloud cover obscures much of Mt. Fuji, but the clouds shifted during the trip to get a full view of he summit while in the area. We also visited Fujiyoshida, with the iconic view of its pagoda with Mt. Fuji in the background, had lunch at nice restaurant with my first experience eating Wagyu Beef, and ended the trip in Oshino Hakkai and the 8 sacred ponds. Everyone enjoyed the trip, with an easy activity level with the most strenuous trek up Fujiyoshida, allowing visitors to use either the switchback trail or steps to the observation deck. It was a nice break from the hectic pace of the city to see some of the natural areas surrounding Tokyo.

Stunning!
Wonderful day tour to several stunning sights. The ice cream with views of Mount Fuji was a highlight! Our tour guide, Sofia, was so friendly, patient and kind. Seeing the mountain is not a guarantee due to the weather, but the surrounding area is beautiful and well worth it!

Terrible tour
Do not book this tour. Everything in the explanation was a lie. We had 3 stops that totaled 2 1/2 hours. Today is a holiday -Silver Week. There never should have been tours available on this day. We were informed the night before that we were leaving 1 hour early. Meet at 6:50 am. The operator lied and said they're was a typo in the description and when I complained, they later admitted that the time change was because of a national holiday. By the time they told us this, it was too late to cancel. We had a 4 hour drive to get to the 1st stop and at least 4 hours to get back to the meeting spot. So far we have been in this van 12 hours and we are not back at the meeting spot. The only highlight was the guide. Sofia was kind and knowledgeable. She was very sympathetic to the description not matching the tour at all. The 5th station is closed at this time of year. That was the only reason we booked this tour. That could be noted in the description. We enjoyed the brief stops and the weather was great. You do not go on the mountain or even near it. You are lucky if you see the mountain top in the distance due to weather and clouds. We were lucky enough to see it. We travel the world and this is the worst tour we have experienced. Do not book this tour!
