Churro Making in Roma Norte

My family enjoyed this churro making class during our visit to Mexico City. It was a cosy experience and we all got to participate. Our host/instructor was very welcoming. The coffee and churros were delicious.

Delicious churros and coffee with the whole family

This churro making class was an awesome experience for my entire family. My kids are 12 + 9yo. They were engaged throughout the class and had fun. Andrea was a great host and shared two recipes with us: churros and cafe de olla, a traditional preparation of Mexican coffee. Everything was delightful.

Response from the operator: Thank you! We’re glad your family had such a fun and engaging experience. Andrea will be happy to hear your kind words—enjoy those recipes!

Thank you so much Andrea

We went to this class with our 2 kids, 13 & 15. It was a mixed group with an awesome extended family from Chicago. Andrea was a wonderful host. The location of the apartment is awesome (great vintage shopping afterwards & cafes etc), it was such a great experience to feel part of someone’s home whilst learning how to make churros. Andrea is exceptionally knowledgeable about hosting and cooking and made the experience amazing- thank you Andrea. We highly recommend this class :)

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We’re so happy to hear your family had such a great experience and that Andrea made the class special and welcoming. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the location, the atmosphere, and learning together. We truly appreciate your recommendation.

A great activity in Mexico City

The experience was fantastic. From start to finish we were shown how to prepare the churros and then how to cook them properly. It was a very casual environment and we talked about lots of things besides churros. It was a great way to start our day. And the churros were delicious!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We’re happy to hear you had a fantastic experience and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the process, and of course the delicious churros. It sounds like a great way to start the day. We hope to welcome you again soon.

Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class cost?

+

Prices start at $74 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class take?

+

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class?

+

Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small Group Mexican Churros Master Class start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
