Worth every pound

What an amazing day. It surpassed our expectations by far. Joe picked my husband and me up at our hotel and educated us with an engaging history of Northern Ireland (from a first hand perspective) as we drove along a scenic route to the Rope Bridge, Giants Causeway, and Dark Hedges. There was even bonus information about Game of Thrones filming sites. We felt fortunate to have Joe’s expertise on what to look for at each of the sites we stopped at (and no queues for lines). We realize that we are fortunate to be able to book a smaller tour, but if you have the means and are “on the fence” about it, just book it. You won’t be disappointed.

Response from the operator: Thank you both Laura, I really appreciated your time in writing a very endorsing review

Best private tour you can get.

Joe was absolutely the best tour guide we could have asked for. He allowed for ample time at each of our stops including the Giant Causeway. We were blessed to have dry weather at the Giant Causeways. The rain and wind do not deter any of us from enjoying the sights and history lessons. The whole tour was geared to our level of knowledge. Joe is quite humorous. Having four people was perfect and the van was very comfortable, Joe even was thoughtful to bring snacks and water. The tour was well worth the price. Highly recommend using Belfast mural tours. Each sight did not have many crowds allowing for us to enjoy the sights at our leisure.

Response from the operator: Thank you Jennifer. I thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday, what an amazing, friendly, funny group of people. It was my pleasure travelling with you all

Take Joe's Tour!

This was a private, full-day tour with only my husband, me, and our guide, Joe. It was a fantastic day!! Joe is a treasure chest of knowledge about the history of Belfast and Northern Ireland, adding a layer of interest to the places where we stopped. Joe's sense of humor kept us cracking up. We had so much fun, got to know each other a bit and ended the tour with warm hugs. What a day! What a treasure Joe is. Did I mention it was a fantastic day?

Response from the operator: Thank you both, a wonderful fun filled day had by all

We did not originally book with this company – there was a mistake in our previous reservation – a local called Joe and

Joe was our guide – I cannot believe our luck in having him as our guide! This tour was beyond belief, and I felt like it should be a documentary! This man needs to write a book – his knowledge, compassion, and kindness are unmatched!

Response from the operator: Thank you for an excellent review

Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Belfast.

How much does Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast cost?

+

Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Belfast usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Belfast is not rushed.

Is Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Belfast, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Belfast can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Belfast and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small Group Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Belfast within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Belfast?

+

On Outty we rank every Belfast experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include A History of Terror - Belfast City Centre Walking Tour, Belfast Troubles Tour: Walls and Bridges, Giants Causeway and Castles from Belfast: Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Belfast?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Belfast?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
