Great DMZ Tour with Jung 🇰🇷

Jung was an awesome guide for our DMZ tour. She was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history and significance of everything we visited. The Third Infiltration Tunnel was definitely a highlight. Jung kept the whole tour interesting and organized and made sure everyone knew what was happening along the way. Highly recommend this tour and especially Jung as a guide!

    We had a wonderful...

We had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Vincent really knew how to handle the logistics so that we could get ahead of the masses, and the key to that is an early departure. He was an excellent guide, giving us plenty of time at each stop for enjoyment, but also moving the group along so that we could enjoy many different stops in an adventure-filled day. Just be aware that if you have difficulty with enclosed spaces and steep inclines, you should think carefully about whether you actually want to descend into the third tunnel. We are so glad we booked this tour - thank you, Vincent!

    A must do tour

Jun picked us up from the hotel. He was punctual and very kind. During the tour, we received a brief history of Korea and how the DMZ came about. We also went on the Suspension Bridge. We almost skipped this leg and so glad we didn’t! The DMZ so interesting and the suspension bridge may be one of the highlights of our trip.

Jun was beyond amazing, I wish I could give him 6/5 stars. Kind, communicative, knowledgeable and all around excellent. Of all the tours and things to do when visiting Korea put this (and request Jun) at the top of your list.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Small Group DMZ Tour with Hotel pickup : 3rd tunnel&Susp. Bridge cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small Group DMZ Tour with Hotel pickup : 3rd tunnel&Susp. Bridge take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Small Group DMZ Tour with Hotel pickup : 3rd tunnel&Susp. Bridge worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 2,251 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group DMZ Tour with Hotel pickup : 3rd tunnel&Susp. Bridge?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group DMZ Tour with Hotel pickup : 3rd tunnel&Susp. Bridge suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Small Group DMZ Tour with Hotel pickup : 3rd tunnel&Susp. Bridge?

    +

Around 788 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
