Fun Trip!
We had a great day on the water and would definitely recommend this company! They were easy to work with from start to finish, communication was great, the boat was clean and comfortable, and our captains were friendly, fun, and made the day enjoyable. They clearly wanted everyone to have a great experience. The only "downsides" really had nothing to do with the company—they were more about my own expectations and may be helpful for future guests. We chose the 3–8 p.m. Capri/Blue Grotto tour because it included a visit to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting) and two hours on Capri. That sounded perfect for our family since we mainly wanted to see the Blue Grotto and ride the chairlift in Anacapri. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, so the Blue Grotto was closed. The crew did a wonderful job making up for it by taking us to several other beautiful sea caves with incredibly clear blue water. We also didn't realize the chairlift closes at 5 p.m., which was the time we arrived on Capri, so that wasn't an option. If riding the chairlift is important to you, I'd recommend choosing an earlier tour. The other thing to know is that the swim stop is right before the boat docks in Capri. We all walked through town looking like drowned rats! 😂 That's not a criticism of the tour at all—just something I hadn't thought about. If you care about how you look while exploring Capri, pack a change of clothes. One other note: I had envisioned some light snacks or appetizers during the cruise. Drinks were provided throughout the trip, which was great, but there weren't any snacks, so I'd recommend eating beforehand or bringing something small if you're prone to getting hungry. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely book with them again. Just come with the right expectations, and I think you'll have an amazing day!

The Highlight of Our Italy Trip!
This private boat tour to Capri and the Blue Grotto was the absolute highlight of our trip! The scenery was breathtaking, and getting to swim in the crystal-clear water made the experience even more unforgettable. Our guide, Rafael (I believe that was his name), was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. The Prosecco and homemade limoncello were a wonderful touch and absolutely delicious! We also loved that it was a small, private group, which made the tour feel much more personal and relaxing. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It was an experience we’ll never forget! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The bluest sea!!
Very good tour!!! We did the excursion with Antonio and Antonino, which explained and showed us very well the landscapes of beautiful Capri. They were very attentive at all times, they took very good care of us, always watching for all those who participated in the tour. Very grateful to them, and also to Francesco what he looked for and brought us back to our hostel. What an end to such a beautiful excursion we toast with lemoncelo!!! Thank you!!! I recommend it!!!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Small-Group Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Tour from Sorrento 5 Hours cost?
+
Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small-Group Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Tour from Sorrento 5 Hours take?
+

Is Small-Group Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Tour from Sorrento 5 Hours worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Tour from Sorrento 5 Hours?
+

Is Small-Group Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Tour from Sorrento 5 Hours suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Small-Group Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Tour from Sorrento 5 Hours?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
