The tour was good. We...

The tour was good. We spend a lot of time in the mini van during the tour. Especially while picking up all passengers from various hotels.

Response from the operator: Hi Diana, thank you for posting a review about our Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour. Your opinion is important to us. We would have liked to hear more about the places you visited, guiding, etc. That certainly help other travelers. Cordially, Carlos

Highest value for time and money

Best value for money and time. Extremely professional guide easy to hear and understanding but also lots of personality. Bus was very new, air conditioned and comfortable. Will not even begin to compare to hop on bus because far more understandable and interesting

Response from the operator: Hi, thank you for posting a review about our Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour. Your opinion is important to us and will certainly help other travelers. We are very glad you enjoyed it. Cordially, Carlos

Not great for English speakers

The tour was advertised as in English, but the majority of participants spoke Spanish and the guide spoke English about a third of the time. This meant we got much more surface level information like the names of things or facts like a building used to be a church, but not history and narrative. We left feeling like we had been driven to several landmarks but don't have much sense of their significance or the city's story.

Response from the operator: Hi, thank you for posting a review. We regret to hear that your experience was not as you expected. The tour is advertised in english/spanish/portuguese. Even we try to just guide it in one language, it is with a bilingual guide and according to the nationality of travelers. Cordially, Carlos

Impossible to deal with

I arranged this to her for our group of six friends. It was for the wrong day. Our cruise ship was not in town on that day, but was available for a different day. This tour refused to change my date, even though I had only made the reservation within 24 hours previously. I will not reserve again even though I tried to work with the tour group to change our tour. Travel can be difficult and needs to be flexible and this company is not flexible so I would never reserve with them. I highly encourage you to read this review and not deal with this company.

Response from the operator: Hi Barbara, thank you for posting a review. We regret to hear that you had a bad experience. It seems that you have booked through another operator, not us. We have not had any recent case like the one you mention. We are always flexible and a change of date is something usual for us and we are always trying to give our best to solve this situations. Please, check the local tour operator and send us more details like the name of the company and booking reference. Best regards, Carlos

Downscaled tour of Buenos Aires

Delightful little intro to a massive megapolis. We got to sample some wine and dolce le lece and see the giant steel flower sculpture. Don’t remember much else.

Response from the operator: Hi Stan, thank you for posting a review about our Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour. Your opinion is important to us and will certainly help other travelers. We are very glad you enjoyed it!. Cordially, Carlos

Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $64 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour?

+

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small-group Buenos Aires City Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

+

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
