After lunch, continue to Positano, with 1 hour of free time to wander its alleys, browse boutiques, and admire monuments like the Roman Villa and Church of Santa Maria Assunta. The grotto is not managed by our company but by an independent organization, Azienda Autonoma Soggiorno e Turismo di Amalfi. During high season, waiting times may be longer, typically around 20–30 minutes or more. For this reason, the decision to visit the grotto is made collectively with all guests on board.

Fantastic experience, warning to those with motion sickness
This tour was the highlight of our trip! We had Sebastian who was an incredible guide! We saw stunning views of the coast, stopped at emerald grotto, and went snorkeling. I even saw a stingray! If you have issues with motion sickness this may not be the trip for you. I did get sick and Sebastian handled it so well and helped me to not feel so embarrassed about it. He also had medication on board to help me start feeling better.

The best way to see the coast!
Captain Sebastian was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, attentive, and fun. The boat company provided towels, drinks, and snacks. Really such a fun way to spend a day in the Amalfi coast!
