    Good

We had a very nice day learning about the history of the Vietnam war and the Cu Chi tunnels. At the Mekong Delta we did some side activities such as tasting coconut candy, observing crocodiles and a boat tour. Loi's enthousiasm was contagious and we loved his humorous approach. Even though the bus trip was a bit long, he entertained us with jokes, quizzes and interesting information about Vietnam. We were only with 4 in total, so that made the experience more personal. Thanks for the fun day!

Response from the operator: Xin chào! Thank you for sharing your experience on our Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta day tour. We’re delighted that you enjoyed learning about Vietnam’s history, exploring the tunnels, and taking part in the local activities in the Mekong Delta. It’s wonderful to hear that Loi’s enthusiasm, humour, quizzes, and interesting stories kept the journey entertaining and that the small group made your experience feel more personal. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the travel time, as it helps us continue improving the experience. Thank you for spending this fun and memorable day with us! Asiana Link Team

    Fabulous family tour

With only two days in Ho Chi Minh we decided to book a whirlwind one day tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong in our own limo. What could have been cringy and touristy was a super informative, personal and fun tour for the whole family. Our guide Kevin was so informative and spoke directly to our kids so they were engaged and felt included. Despite some motion sickness by our youngest, Kevin was patient and friendly and such an expert. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Xin chào, Liza! Thank you for taking the time to share such a wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that your family enjoyed your private tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. It means so much to us that what could have been a busy sightseeing day became a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for everyone. We are especially grateful for your kind words about Kevin. We are thrilled to hear that he made a special effort to engage your children throughout the tour and showed patience and care when your youngest wasn't feeling well. Creating an enjoyable experience for every member of the family is something we truly value, and Kevin will be delighted to know his efforts made such a positive impression. Thank you again for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you and your family back for more unforgettable experiences in Vietnam. Asiana Link Team

Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.

How much does Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta cost?

    +

Prices start at $76 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.

Is Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 842 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta?

    +

Around 295 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small-Group 1-Day Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
