Excellent trip and lodge

Great experience! I was just sad that it was over too soon. The lodge was great and gave you a chance to really be close to nature. The staff and food were all excellent. The guides were also great and spotted so much wildlife!

Great rainforest experience

From the arrival to the excellent lodge to the well-guided excursions, we had a wonderful trip. The arrangement by Paul from Carpe DM Adventures was unobtrusive, very friendly, competent and gave us a very pleasant travel feeling. We can only recommend this agency to everyone and would be happy to book with them again.

Response from the operator: Dear 108henningb We are so pleased that from start to finish you were pleased with the service at the lodge. We are also happy that you were happy with the service Paul provided you.

Once in a lifetime - truly amazing

I can only recommend this amazing tour, all aspects were perfect! Accomodation is pretty, clean and has a very nice atmosphere. Food is amazing with a Fantastic crew preparing delicious means. Also the iternary is also excellent - time to both explore the jungle and to relax. The guides are also amazing, so much knowledge and helps with photos and spotting rare camouflaged species. We were lucky and saw a lot - snakes, spiders, frogs, sloths, monkeys, pink dolphines, fish, insects and other mammals. Also the visit to the local community is amazing and we got to participate in the cooking of local cuisine! I already miss staying at the lodge and the jungle and can’t wait to go back! This is the TRUE jungle experience!!!

The one travel agency in Quito you must visit.

This is my second year in a row booking my travels out of Quito with CarpeDM Adventures. Paulo and Fernanda not only book the best tours in the area but generously give back to the indigenous peoples whom you will visit. Last year they booked me on a 5 day tour of The Galápagos Islands. This year a 4 day trip to Cuyabeno deep in the Amazon. They only work with experienced guides who provide a completely informative and enjoyable experience. I can’t sing their praises enough. I would never consider using anyone else for my Quito travel plans. I feel like I have two great friends in Quito. Have them explain their 3.3.3. and their River 1.5 projects. They are my heroes!

Response from the operator: Dear Michael Thanks so much for your review, we are so pleased that you have come back a second time and we were able to live up to the expectations of the first. We hope you will be back for more adventures with us in the future.

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quito?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
