Incredible tour

We took advantage of the morning before doing the night one to take a wildlife tour where we saw a great variety of animals including the sloth, thanks to the guide we saw it and he shared the photos with me at the end

Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por compartir su experiencia! ¡Pura vida!

**An excellent experience in Bijagua and Río Celeste**

Excellent experience in the Bijagua area. The sloth tour and the hanging bridges were one of the activities we enjoyed the most during our trip. We were able to learn a lot about the fauna and nature of the area, in addition to enjoying the forest and the beautiful landscapes. The guide was very kind, attentive, and knew quite a bit about the animals and plants we encountered. Everything was very well organized and it was a very nice and peaceful experience. We definitely recommend doing this tour if you visit Bijagua and Río Celeste.

Sloths, Toucan and Hanging Bridges

We enjoyed a private tour (6adults) with Justin and Milton from Pure Jungle. Justin met us at our meeting spot and quickly led us to our first stop to view sloths and other wildlife. Justin and Milton quickly spotted a sloth just outside the parking lot. We were able to view up close with their scopes and get close up pics. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I don't think we would of seen much without their expertise. The hanging Bridges were fun and Justin pointed out a lot of insects and fauna. After Justin shared with us a great place for lunch. Having a guide like Justin made our day extra special.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure spending the day with your group and sharing the wildlife and nature of the area with you. We’re really happy you enjoyed the sloth spotting, hanging bridges, and all the small details along the way. Finding wildlife can definitely be difficult without local experience, so we’re glad we could help make the experience more enjoyable and special. Thank you again for choosing Río Celeste Wildlife Tours and for your kind words about Justin and Milton. We truly appreciate it and hope to see you again in Costa Rica!

How much does Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua cost?

How long does Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in La Fortuna is not rushed.

Is Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in La Fortuna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua?

+

Is Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in La Fortuna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in La Fortuna and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sloth and Hanging Bridges Tour Bijagua start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central La Fortuna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in La Fortuna?

+

On Outty we rank every La Fortuna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Upper Balsa River White Water Rafting Class 3/4 in Costa Rica, North Fields Cafe: Craft Specialty Coffee and Chocolate Tour, Canyoning Adventure Rappelling Waterfalls in Arenal Volcano. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit La Fortuna?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in La Fortuna?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
