Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal 'Crown of the Palace' is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (r. 1628–1658) to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. The tomb is the centerpiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.

An Unforgettable Family Tour of India with Subash Ji
We had an amazing experience touring India with Subash ji. He guided my family through Delhi, Red Fort, Agra, the beautiful Taj Mahal, Jaipur, Safari and Ajmer with so much care and professionalism. Subash ji is a very genuine and trustworthy person with incredible knowledge of India’s history, culture, and traditions. He made our trip comfortable, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Every place we visited was explained in detail, making the experience even more special for our family. We truly appreciate his kindness, patience, and dedication throughout the journey. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable tour guide in India!

Go with this company. I was 100% satisfied!
I contacted Sabash, who was recommended to me by a flight attendant who uses his company whenever she comes to India. We had Raman as our driver for 8 days. He was always professional and always on time to pick us up. I would never drive in India, and was so grateful to have him drive and take us to many places. We had Vinnie as our guide in Agra, and he is fantastic as well. He takes the coolest photos using cell phones. He even helped other people around who didn’t have anyone taking photos for them.I I have so many wonderful photos he took. He also explained about the history. I would highly recommend having Subash arrange anything you want in India. His communication was excellent and I always knew what the plans were. No need to look for anyone else. I’m so happy I entrusted my India experience with Subash and his crew.

Beautiful and inspiring building. Subhash truly made this easy.
Wow, stunning. What a glorious building. I wish I'd done this long ago. The excellent Subhash gave us a safe, comfortable, and quick drive to Agra, and was very nice to talk to. The sunrise is just beautiful on the marble of the Taj. Subhash put us in the care of Abdul there, and -boy- did we skip the lines! An informative and gorgeous tour, from people who care. I would do this again.

Subhash our Savior!!
Subhash is the best tour guide ever, finds us good prices and makes sure we are safe, and an amazing and kind man we were so lucky to meet. We cut the entire line at Taj, got jeeps to the fort in Jaipur, tried amazing street food in Dehli! Golden triangle tour was unforgettable and very affordable. We will never forget Subhash, he is truly a kind, intelligent, and genuine person who made this experience the best weekend ever.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Skip the Line Taj Mahal Agra Fort Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
