The Sistine Chapel will remain open to visitors; however, the fresco will be temporarily not visible due to scaffolding. Making the best of the experience!
Nicoletta was great. I appreciate how she showed us the detailed map of the Sistine Chapel ahead of time so we knew what to look for once there. It’s a known that in August this is a very hot and crowded experience but our very knowledgeable guide kept us navigating well to open areas—making the best of it all.
