Do not buy this through tripadviser!!!!Do this on your own!

The event was great but do not buy this through tripadviser! The cable car and wings of time venue dont recognize the tripadviser ticket because it is third party. The directions from tripadviser are poor and only arrive the day before. Our friends didnt receive the extra email with complicated directions on how to procure their tickets and had to pay at the venues. A total ripoff. You can do the cable car yourself and the wings of time yourself no problem on your own.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the situation left you disappointed. However, we would like to clarify several important facts for future customers reading this review. When a booking is made through TripAdvisor/Viator, the platform first issues a booking voucher. The barcode or QR code on that voucher is not the admission ticket for the Cable Car or Wings of Time. This is clearly stated in the booking information, which also explains that the valid attraction e-tickets and QR codes will be sent separately by My Singapore Holiday via email or WhatsApp within 24 hours before the booking date. Our contact details are also clearly provided on the voucher, including our WhatsApp number, specifically so that customers can contact us immediately if they cannot locate their e-tickets or have any difficulty using them. In your case, the valid e-tickets had already been issued and sent to the registered email address and WhatsApp before the scheduled visit. Our team had also contacted you prior to the booking date, but we did not receive any message from you informing us that you could not locate or access the tickets. What is important to clarify is that we were not contacted before the additional tickets were purchased at the venue. By the time we received your message requesting assistance and a refund, the replacement tickets had already been purchased. Had you contacted us before purchasing another ticket, we could have checked your booking immediately, confirmed which QR code should be used, and resent the valid e-tickets to you if necessary. Our team was available to assist, and our contact information was already provided on your voucher. For this reason, we do not believe it is accurate to describe the service as a “total ripoff.” The valid tickets were issued and sent as required. Unfortunately, once attraction tickets have been issued, they are non-refundable according to the booking conditions. We therefore could not refund tickets that had already been issued simply because additional tickets were purchased separately without first contacting us for assistance. We fully understand that purchasing a second set of tickets was frustrating. However, if there is ever any uncertainty regarding an e-ticket, we strongly encourage customers to contact us before purchasing replacement tickets. This gives us the opportunity to resolve the issue immediately and prevents unnecessary additional expense. We hope this clarification helps future guests understand the difference between the TripAdvisor/Viator booking voucher and the official attraction e-ticket, as well as the importance of contacting us if assistance is required.

    Must Do

We paid for the deluxe cable car, 360° views. Worth it! Shared cabin with random strangers, hilarious conversation which added value. We did not buy the professional photo, hell no! Take some time to make it semi-flattering! Do we really look like that?! The only negative perspective to an otherwise memorable way to spend our money and precious time in Singapore.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fun and honest feedback. We’re happy to hear the deluxe cable car experience was worth it and that the shared cabin added to the memories. We also appreciate your note about the professional photo and will share it with the relevant team.

    Bad Ticketing Experience

I would start by saying that the cable car ride is well worth taking, and gives some spectacular views of Singapore. My poor rating of the experience relates to ticketing. I purchase two tickets through the Trip Advisor/Viator website from an agency called My Singapore Holiday. When my wife and I turned up at the Mt Faber Cable car entrance the operator’s ticket scanner did not recognise the barcode of our tickets. I then had to purchase extra tickets at the ticket office to take the ride. I naturally presumed that as My Singapore Holiday had given me what appeared an invalid barcode I would be able to get a refund on the tickets I purchased from the website. I sent them a Whatsapp message (that is how they had communicated with me); I also message trip Advisor on their website. I receive an email from Trip Advisor stating that I would not get a refund as the ticketing agency (My Singapore HolIday) had not approved it! I would mention that at that at the time of writing I have not received a response to my WhatsApp message. We went to the cable car on a Tuesday morning; there was no queue, so I would suggest if you wish to take the cable car ride, pay at the operator’s ticket office and avoid the risk of losing your money.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced at the Singapore Cable Car entrance. After reviewing your booking, we confirmed that the official admission e-tickets and QR codes had already been issued and sent to both your registered email address and WhatsApp one day before your scheduled visit. Please note that the TripAdvisor/Viator booking voucher is not the valid admission ticket for entry to the attraction. The booking information clearly states that the official e-ticket and QR code will be sent separately by My Singapore Holiday via email or WhatsApp. Based on the information provided, it appears that the barcode presented at the entrance may have been the TripAdvisor/Viator voucher rather than the official attraction QR code sent by our team. This would explain why the barcode was not recognised by the venue’s scanner. Our contact number is included on the booking voucher. If you were unable to locate the official e-tickets or experienced any difficulty at the entrance, you could have contacted us before purchasing additional tickets. Our team would have been able to verify the booking and resend the correct QR codes immediately. We did not receive a request for assistance regarding the location of the valid tickets before the replacement tickets were purchased. We were contacted regarding a refund only after the additional tickets had already been bought. Unfortunately, once the official admission tickets have been issued, they are strictly non-refundable, as stated in the booking conditions before purchase. Since the valid tickets had already been issued and successfully delivered to you, we were unable to approve a refund for the additional tickets purchased directly at the venue. We regret the misunderstanding and hope this clarification helps future guests understand the difference between the TripAdvisor/Viator booking voucher and the official attraction e-ticket.

Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.

How much does Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip) cost?

    +

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip) take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.

Is Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip)?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Skip the Line: Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass (Round-Trip) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Singapore?

    +

On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Singapore?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Singapore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
