What you get

    About this experience

After about 2 hour lesson 99% of our customers can fully enjoy using a ski lift and go down the hill on their own! Having you specified your size via email we will pre-arrange renting out all equipment you need for your skiing day out. We will also pre-book your individual ski/snowboard instructor for two hours. We do not provide ski clothing apart from gloves, so you should take care of this yourself. As this is occasional skiing our clients usually wear alternative sports trousers and jackets, not necessarily ski wear. Alternatively, our driver can stop at an outlet store along the way so you could buy trousers and a jacket. This tour is a fully tailor-made escape so we need to arrange every single detail before you come to Poland. Please contact us so we can work out the best option for you, and take care of all the logistics. You will be under a supervision of an English speaking instructor

Amazing, must do trip for beginners!!

Amazing experience learning to ski, perfect for beginners! Ralph was super and very patient. My husband and children aged 10 and 14 had never skied before but by the end of the day they were skiing independently. Enjoyed throughly by everyone!

Amazing introduction to sking short drive from krakow

Our family of 5 did this beginner sking trip with Rafal from krakow. We had never skied and we had 3 instructors for 5 people and was awesome experience. We had so much fun and 2 hour tutorial. Our 3 kids picked up sking really quickly and had a amazing time. It was a 5 star experience for us and the slopes were quite and so easy for beginners to try sking. We highly recommend if trying sking first time as personal instructors make the experience so fun. Thanks rafal for great day

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We're thrilled to hear that your family had such a fantastic time on the beginner skiing trip with Rafal. It's great to know that you found the personal instructors to be helpful and that your kids picked up skiing quickly, making for an amazing day. We are passionate about skiing so it is easy for us to organize this type of trip and tailor it perfectly to your needs and abilities. If there is snow, we take you to the nearby slope, and even if the snow is a little worse, in the mountains, within a 2-hour drive from Krakow, we have a large ski complex, which is available all winter. Thank you for choosing Prime Tours, and we hope to see you on the slopes again soon!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow cost?

    +

Prices start at $295 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Skiing For Beginners - Private Day Trip from Krakow start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
