Well organised tour & tasting and sumptuous lunch
Although we were a little late that didn't faze the tour guide at all. The young lady guide was very knowledgeable and well organised. Firstly, a rundown on the history of Sirromet Wines, the grapes they grow & the wines produced. Then a tour thru the main building, lab & cellars before finally the production area. Our tour guide gave us a very informative description of the processes in producing the wine. We were lucky enough to ask questions of one of the winemakers. Secondly, the wine tasting. Again our tour guide gave us a very good description of each of the six wines including their tasts, smells, grapes etc. Very well organised in a very nice setting. Last time we on the tour & tasting years ago we were disappointed with the wines but not this time as we bought several!Lastly, our 3 course meal. The restaurant manager allowed us to sit with new found friends even though we were originally allocated separate tables. Beautiful indoor/outdoor setting, very professional waiting staff. But, above all sumptuous food with each course matched up accompanying wines. Highly recommended tour, tasting & lunch

A Fantastic Wine Tasting Experience
We had a wonderful time on this wine tasting tour. Our guide was excellent- friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience both fun and informative. The wines were beautifully presented, and the insights into the production added so much to the day. The three-course meal was superb, perfectly paired with additional wine tastings that elevated each dish. Every course was delicious and thoughtfully matched, making the dining experience a real highlight. Overall, it was an outstanding tour that delivered great wine, great food, and great company. Highly recommended!

A Great Place to Celebrate a Significant Birthday
The location is perfect - we enjoyed our stay in the Sanctuary cabins / tents, and our luncheon with matching wines. The highlight though was the winery tour and tasting led by Fion - he knew so much about the wine, winery and wine-making processes, and he was a great communicator. Breakfast was included and was extremely generous.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted you chose to celebrate such a special birthday with us—it’s fantastic to hear you enjoyed the Sanctuary cabins, the lunch with matching wines, and the generous breakfast. We’re especially thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the winery tour and tasting with Fion. He’ll be so pleased to know his knowledge and passion helped make your experience even more memorable. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another special occasion—or just a relaxing getaway!

End result - dissapointement
Bought a winery tour with tasting and 3 course dinner for two on red balloon. The winery tour itself was very interesting, tasting was fine too. Although the dinner was absolute shambles. We were waiting for our starters for over an hour (we ordered burrata-this is for reference as it does not require any cooking) so no excuse really, apart from the fact they just forgot the order, alright happens, we got complimentary glass of wine which was nice. My friend ordered a fish, I had a steak which I ordered to be cooked medium, unfortunately it came well done and instead of an apology I get "chef considers this to be medium, and if you want anything less cooked you'll have to order medium-rare", so I did, and of course it came medium-rare, which I didn't appreciate but didn't complain anymore as it was useless. Also have to say that both fish and steak were oversalted and almost uneadable, but then again for the same reasons I didn't complain. The dessert at least was good. We were both very dissapointed in the service that chef provided. It seems like he cannot take any healthy criticism and improve based on it. We will not be back, this experience wasn't worth the money.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback on your recent winery tour and dining experience. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and tasting. However, we're sorry to learn that your dinner did not meet expectations. We apologise for the delay in serving your starters and for the issues with your main courses. Your comments regarding the chef's response and the quality of the dishes have been noted, and we will address these concerns with our team. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gold Coast.
How much does Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gold Coast usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gold Coast is not rushed.
Is Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Gold Coast, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gold Coast can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gold Coast and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sirromet Winery Eataly Discovery - Includes Tour, Tasting and 3 Course Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gold Coast within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Gold Coast?
+
On Outty we rank every Gold Coast experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 Hour Ultimate Learn to Surf Adventure, Gold Coast Whale Watching Cruise, Mount Tamborine Wine Tasting Tour from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Gold Coast?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Gold Coast?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
