Good Vibes!

The Sips With Soul Tour was the experience of a lifetime. It more than exceeded my expectations for my first trip to Cape Town, South Africa. Its people, its music, its wine, and its culture did not disappoint. Not to mention the attention to detail provided by Tuanni Price & Marcus Johnson, as well as the staff who stayed with us throughout the tour to ensure we had everything we needed to make us comfortable. I highly recommend the “Sips With Soul Tour.”

Response from the operator: It was our honor to host you for your first Cape Town visit! I am glad the music, wine, and culture moved you just as much as they move me. We can not wait to welcome you back!

Amazing time had by all…..

Well organized and attention to details. I had an amazing time learning more about S. African wine while enjoying the sounds of jazz. I can’t wait for next year’s events.

Response from the operator: It was a joy to share the beauty of South African wine with you. We are already dreaming up big things for next year, and we can not wait to welcome you back!

Trip of a lifetime

From start to finish, this Cape Town Jazz & Wine Tour was nothing short of extraordinary—a true trip of a lifetime. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, blending rich cultural experiences with unforgettable moments. From visiting Black-owned wine estates and stepping inside beautiful private residences, to vibing in intimate local jazz clubs and exploring townships and iconic landmarks, the itinerary struck the perfect balance between depth, authenticity, and pure enjoyment. What made the experience even more special was the incredible group of people. There was a perfect mix—young and seasoned, East Coast and West Coast, North and South—and somehow it all just clicked. By the end, strangers had become genuine friends, connected through laughter, music, and shared discovery. And then there were the hosts—Taunni and Cindy—who truly elevated everything. They don’t just guide the experience, they become part of it. They welcome you like you’re their long-lost best friend from grade school, wrapping every moment in warmth, energy, and care. Their passion is infectious, their attention to detail unmatched, and their spirit? Pure joy. Fun, fun, FUN doesn’t even begin to cover it. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a feeling, a vibe, and a memory that will last forever.

Response from the operator: My heart is so full reading this! Cindy and I loved having you with us. It’s the magic of the group, the laughter between new friends from all over that makes this more than just a tour for us. Thank you for becoming part of the family and for vibing with us from the townships to the wine estates. See you at the next one!

Wine and jazz in So Africa

Sips with Soul offered an amazing experience visiting wineries, especially Black businesses, and hearing top notch Jazz at international festivals as well as local clubs and getting to know the beautiful and complex city of Cape Town.

Response from the operator: I am happy to hear you enjoyed the journey! Highlighting our incredible Black-owned wine estates and the local jazz scene is exactly why we do this. Cape Town has so many layers, and it was a pleasure exploring them with you. Hope to see you again soon!

Sips With Soul Wine Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Sips With Soul Wine Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sips With Soul Wine Tour take?

+

Plan for about 7.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Sips With Soul Wine Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sips With Soul Wine Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sips With Soul Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sips With Soul Wine Tour?

+

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 7.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sips With Soul Wine Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
