Poorly unstructured tour with a guide.

They were 30 minutes late in picking me up. We only stopped 2 places for pictures or shopping. Shopping was a waste of time. We shopped while the took part on the group to another site. Many places we were told what the buildings were as we drove by. My final stop was to the orchid garden where I had almost 2 hours to walk around before they picked me up to bring me back to the hotel. I enjoyed the orchid garden but I could have done that completely on my own without going through a tour. Definitely not recommended.

Response from the operator: Dear Tom, Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the tour did not meet your expectations. The itinerary is designed to provide an overview of the city with both sightseeing and short stops, but we understand some guests may prefer more time at certain locations. We’re pleased you enjoyed the National Orchid Garden, though we regret the overall experience left you disappointed. Please may we kindly suggest that next time, if something isn’t to your satisfaction, you let the guide know during the tour — in many cases, issues can be resolved immediately on the spot. Your comments regarding timing and shopping stops have been noted and will be reviewed with our team to improve future tours. We truly appreciate your input and hope to have the chance to provide you with a better experience next time. Thanks, Paul

    Beautiful gardens

The intial bus guy spoke too much and was personal about where he lived etc, but overally even though I got pelted with rain, it was a great experience. Accolades to the driver who picked me up in the pouring rain and took me back to my hotel - Could not have been more grateful. He was lovely and we had a good chat on the way

Response from the operator: Dear Eleni, Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and for joining our City Experience with National Orchid Garden tour. We’re delighted to hear that, despite the rain, you had a great time and especially appreciated the kindness of your driver on the return journey. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. We also appreciate your feedback about the initial guide’s commentary and will share this with our team to help improve the experience for future guests. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the tour overall and hope to welcome you again on your next visit. Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

    Interesting tour!!!

Interesting tour!!! Beautiful landscape and nature at the Botanical Gardens!!! Delayed in timings, due to group gathering in the morning (1 hour) snd then due to participants, which shortened the tour!!

Response from the operator: Hi there, Thank you for leaving us valuable feedback! We're glad you found the tour interesting and we would like to also apologize for any shortcomings during the tour. We hope to see you again and please bring your family and friends!

Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.

How much does Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden cost?

    +

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.

Is Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Singapore Half-Day Guided City Tour with National Orchid Garden start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Singapore?

    +

On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Singapore?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Singapore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
